CVE-2026-75975
Alta · 7.5
CWE-20 24/08/2026
fast-uri vulnerable to server-side request forgery via malformed IPv6 normalization
fast-uri is a URI parser for Node.js. Its custom parser for bracketed IPv6 literals does not validate the complete IPv6 grammar, so invalid trailing text in an authority can be silently discarded and a malformed attacker-controlled host is turned into a different valid IPv6 destination. For example, a bracketed literal with invalid trailing characters is normalized to the unspecified address, which a Node HTTP client then connects to a local service over loopback, and other malformed literals collapse to private-range addresses. No error is set on the parsed result, so an application checking the error field cannot detect the rewrite. An application that normalizes untrusted URLs before outbound requests, redirects, proxy routing, or address-policy enforcement can be redirected to a local or private IPv6 target, giving a server-side request forgery and address-policy bypass primitive. The affected versions are 2.3.1 up to but not including 2.4.5, 3.0.0 up to but not including 3.1.6, and 4.0.0 up to but not including 4.1.3. The issue is fixed in 2.4.5, 3.1.6, and 4.1.3, which validate bracketed IP literals against the full grammar and mark malformed literals as authority errors. Users should upgrade to a patched version.

ggml-org llama.cpp ggml-RPC Server ggml-rpc.cpp deserialize_tensor deserialization
A vulnerability was found in ggml-org llama.cpp bec4772f6. The impacted element is the function deserialize_tensor of the file ggml/src/ggml-rpc/ggml-rpc.cpp of the component ggml-RPC Server. Performing a manipulation of the argument op/op_params results in deserialization. The attack may be initiated remotely. This vulnerability is distinct from CVE-2026-34159 (GHSA-j8rj-fmpv-wcxw, PR #20908), which only added a buffer==nullptr rejection in create_node() and does not validate op or op_params. The reported GitHub issue was closed automatically due to inactivity.

justhtml before 1.16.0 Multiple Security Issues via Sanitization
justhtml before 1.16.0 contains multiple HTML sanitization bypass issues that can allow active/dangerous content (e.g., script or style) to survive sanitization, potentially leading to cross-site scripting. The issues primarily affect advanced usage rather than the default JustHTML(..., sanitize=True) path for ordinary parsed HTML: mutating or reusing sanitization policy objects (including exported defaults) could weaken later sanitization; programmatic DOM input to sanitize()/sanitize_dom() could miss mixed-case tag names (e.g., ScRiPt, StYlE); crafted programmatic doctype names could serialize into active markup; and custom policies preserving SVG or MathML could allow animation elements, presentation attributes with external url(...) references, or DOM trees mislabeled as namespace="html" to bypass foreign-content checks. Fixed in 1.16.0.

Advanced Product Fields (Product Addons) for WooCommerce <= 1.6.21 - Unauthenticated Improper Input Validation to Price Bypass via Add-to-Cart POST Request
The Advanced Product Fields (Product Addons) for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Input Validation in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.21. This is due to a logic flaw in the 'validate_cart_data' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass required paid addons and complete purchases at the base product price only, effectively stealing products by paying a fraction of the intended total. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 1.6.19.

OliveTin has Unvalidated `ot_`-prefixed Arguments that Bypass Input Filtering
OliveTin gives access to predefined shell commands from a web interface. The `filterToDefinedArgumentsOnly` function in the executor is intended to discard any arguments not explicitly defined in the action's configuration. However, prior to commit ebffd9f040f791208aee1db2e5a8aecd1e3e603d, a special case allows any argument whose name starts with `ot_` to bypass this filter. While two system arguments (`ot_executionTrackingId` and `ot_username`) are injected by OliveTin and overridden, all other `ot_`-prefixed arguments supplied by the user pass through unmodified. These bypassed arguments are not type-checked — the validation loop only iterates over the action's defined arguments, so `ot_`-prefixed arguments skip all type safety checks entirely; set as environment variables — via `buildEnv()`, with completely unvalidated values, and passed to the executed command; and included in the template context — available as `.Arguments.ot_*` in template rendering. Commit ebffd9f040f791208aee1db2e5a8aecd1e3e603d contains a patch.

Keystone: `graphql.maxTake` bypass with negative `take`
Keystone is a content management system for Node.js. Prior to 6.5.3, the findMany resolver in packages/core/src/lib/core/queries/resolvers.ts compares the signed take argument directly with graphql.maxTake, allowing a remote unauthenticated GraphQL client to provide a negative take value whose magnitude exceeds the configured bound. The bypass also applies to relationship queries and can return more records than the developer intended, potentially exhausting service resources. This issue is fixed in version 6.5.3.

STIX2 Parser Confusion and Mass Assignment Allow Unauthorized MISP Attribute Metadata Injection in misp-stix library
A vulnerability in misp-stix could allow a crafted STIX document to influence security-sensitive MISP attribute metadata during import.
The STIX import logic automatically selected between the internal MISP parser and the external STIX parser based on metadata contained in the STIX document itself. For STIX2, the presence of MISP-specific tool labels could cause a document to be classified as originating from MISP; similarly, STIX1 relied on the document title. These classification indicators are fully controlled by the STIX producer and therefore cannot constitute a trusted indication of the document's origin. The accompanying fix explicitly notes that the parser choice was previously based solely on labels or header titles that any producer could write, and introduces an explicit classification parameter allowing callers to override this detection.
When STIX2 content was handled as an internal MISP export, attributes contained in an x-misp-object were converted by copying the complete x_misp_attributes dictionary and passing it directly to misp_object.add_attribute(). Consequently, a crafted STIX bundle could supply fields that were not part of the expected STIX-to-MISP round-trip format, including security-sensitive properties such as distribution, sharing_group_id, tags, or other MISP attribute fields.
An attacker able to provide a STIX document for import could therefore spoof the markers used to identify MISP-generated content and inject additional attribute properties. This could alter the distribution, sharing restrictions, classification, or semantic metadata of imported attributes, potentially causing information to be shared contrary to the importing organization's policy or influencing downstream processing and automation based on attacker-controlled tags or metadata.
The vulnerability results from dynamically assigning externally supplied object properties without restricting them to an expected set of attributes, matching CWE-915. MITRE specifically describes this weakness as accepting externally influenced fields without controlling which object attributes may be modified and recommends an allow-list, which is the approach implemented by the patch. The parser-selection issue additionally corresponds to CWE-807, because an untrusted value was used to make a security-relevant trust/classification decision.
The attack is also consistent with CAPEC-153 (Input Data Manipulation), in which an attacker controls the structure or flags of supplied data so that the target selects a different processing path or interprets the content differently than intended.

A MongoDB operator object (e.g. {"$gt": "4"}) can be substituted for a string room-id or message-id. The authorization check resolves to a room the attacker already has access to, while the downstream data query fans out across all rooms - disclosing private thread parents and their full reply content to any low-privilege authenticated user.
The REST route chat.getThreadsList was patched in v5.0 (HackerOne report #1446767) by adding rid: {type:'string'} AJV validation. The equivalent DDP method was never given the same fix and remains exploitable

libgit2 - Unauthenticated network-reachable heap out-of-bounds read in transports/smart_pkt.c:set_data
libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Prior to 1.8.6 and 1.9.5, libgit2 performs a fixed-size strncmp in set_data in src/libgit2/transports/smart_pkt.c without first verifying that the smart-protocol pkt-line capability buffer contains 14 bytes. A malicious Git server can make bytes after the pkt-line complete object-format=, causing format_str to advance beyond the pkt-line and the following memchr length calculation to underflow. The resulting heap out-of-bounds walk can crash a client during the first refs-advertisement packet over HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, or the Git protocol. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.6 and 1.9.5.

SPL Injection through the REST API in Splunk Enterprise Security
In Splunk Enterprise Security versions below 8.6.1, a user who holds a Splunk Enterprise Security role that contains the mc_investigation_read capability could inject Search Processing Language (SPL) through Analyst Queue search filters, allowing for access to all relevant data and system integrity available to the scheduled searches that run for that user. The vulnerability is possible because the Analyst Queue search filter handling does not validate filter field names before the fields are included in SPL searches. For more information see Users and roles for Splunk Enterprise Security (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise-security-8/install/8.4/installation/users-and-roles-for-splunk-enterprise-security), Manage analyst workflows using the analyst queue in Splunk Enterprise Security (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise-security-8/administer/8.4/mission-control/manage-analyst-workflows-using-the-analyst-queue-in-splunk-enterprise-security), and Overview of Mission Control in Splunk Enterprise Security (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise-security-8/user-guide/8.5/mission-control/overview-of-mission-control-in-splunk-enterprise-security) in the Splunk documentation.

SPL Injection through Splunk Web in Splunk Enterprise
In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, an unauthenticated user could trick an authenticated user into opening a crafted link to Analytics Workspace. When the authenticated user opens the link, Splunk Enterprise runs attacker-controlled Search Processing Language (SPL) using the permissions of that user. The injected SPL could access data and perform actions available to that user. The vulnerability is possible because Analytics Workspace does not sufficiently validate data used to build searches. The vulnerability requires the attacker to phish the user by tricking them into opening the crafted link. The unauthenticated user should not be able to exploit the vulnerability at will.

SPL Risky Command Safeguards Bypass through the Job Details Dashboard in Splunk Enterprise
In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could bypass Search Processing Language (SPL) safeguards for risky commands through the Job Details dashboard. The injected SPL could run using the permissions of an authenticated user who opens a crafted Job Details dashboard link. This could allow access to all relevant data and affect system integrity within those permissions. The vulnerability is possible because the Job Details dashboard does not correctly neutralize a caller-supplied search identifier before placing it into SPL searches. The vulnerability requires the attacker to phish the user by tricking them into opening the crafted link. The user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles should not be able to exploit the vulnerability at will. For more information see About jobs and job management (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/search-manual/10.4/manage-jobs/about-jobs-and-job-management) in the Splunk documentation.
