CWE-204 23/05/2026
userSpice 4.3.24 Username Enumeration via existingUsernameCheck.php
userSpice 4.3.24 contains a username enumeration vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to discover valid usernames by sending POST requests to the existingUsernameCheck.php endpoint. Attackers can submit usernames and analyze response text for the 'taken' string to identify existing accounts in the system.

Statamic: Email enumeration via forgot password endpoint
Statamic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). Prior to 5.73.21 and 6.15.0, responses from the forgot password forms hinted at whether an account existed for a given email address. An unauthenticated attacker could use this to enumerate valid users, which can aid in follow-up credential-based attacks. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.73.21 and 6.15.0.

Username Enumeration via Email OTP Flow in Multiple WSO2 Products Allows User Account Discovery
The check user account lock states feature within the email OTP flow fails to validate user input, allowing an attacker to infer the existence of registered user accounts.
The discovery of valid usernames can increase the risk of brute-force and social engineering attacks. Attackers can leverage this information to craft targeted phishing campaigns or other malicious activities aimed at tricking users into divulging sensitive data, potentially damaging the organization's reputation and leading to regulatory non-compliance and financial consequences.

Cisco Identity Services Engine Observable Response Discrepancy Vulnerability
A vulnerability in an identity management API endpoint of Cisco ISE could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to enumerate valid user accounts on an affected device.
This vulnerability exists because error messages are observed when the affected API endpoint is called. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a series of crafted requests to the affected endpoint and analyzing the differentiated responses. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to compile a list of valid usernames on an affected system.

Vulnerability in the MySQL Shell product of Oracle MySQL (component: Shell: Core Client). Supported versions that are affected are 8.0.0-8.0.45, 8.4.0-8.4.8 and 9.0.0-9.6.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where MySQL Shell executes to compromise MySQL Shell. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Shell. CWE-204 20/04/2026
OpenAEV Vulnerable to Username/Email Enumeration Through Differential HTTP Responses in Password Reset API
OpenAEV is an open source platform allowing organizations to plan, schedule and conduct cyber adversary simulation campaign and tests. Starting in version 1.11.0 and prior to version 2.0.13, the /api/reset endpoint behaves differently depending on whether the supplied username exists in the system. When a non-existent email is provided in the login parameter, the endpoint returns an HTTP 400 response (Bad Request). When a valid email is supplied, the endpoint responds with HTTP 200. This difference in server responses creates an observable discrepancy that allows an attacker to reliably determine which emails are registered in the application. By automating requests with a list of possible email addresses, an attacker can quickly build a list of valid accounts without any authentication. The endpoint should return a consistent response regardless of whether the username exists in order to prevent account enumeration. Version 2.0.13 fixes this issue.

ChurchCRM: Username Enumeration via Differential Response in Public Login API
ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. In versions prior to 7.2.0, the public API login endpoint (/api/public/user/login) returns distinguishable HTTP response codes based on whether a username exists: 404 for non-existent users and 401 for valid users with incorrect passwords. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this difference to enumerate valid usernames, with no rate limiting or account lockout to impede the process. This issue has been fixed in version 7.2.0.

Information Disclosure vulnerability in SAP Human Capital Management for SAP S/4HANA
During authorization checks in SAP Human Capital Management for SAP S/4HANA, the system returns specific messages. Due to this, an authenticated user with low privileges could guess and enumerate the content shown, beyond their authorized scope. This leads to disclosure of sensitive information causing a high impact on confidentiality, while integrity and availability are unaffected.

MinIO: LDAP login brute-force via user enumeration and missing rate limit
MinIO is a high-performance object storage system. Prior to RELEASE.2026-03-17T21-25-16Z, MinIO AIStor's STS (Security Token Service) AssumeRoleWithLDAPIdentity endpoint is vulnerable to LDAP credential brute-forcing due to two combined weaknesses: (1) distinguishable error responses that enable username enumeration, and (2) absence of rate limiting on authentication attempts. An unauthenticated network attacker can enumerate valid LDAP usernames and then perform unlimited password guessing to obtain temporary AWS-style STS credentials, gaining access to the victim's S3 buckets and objects. This issue has been patched in RELEASE.2026-03-17T21-25-16Z.

Parse Server: Email verification resend page leaks user existence
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to versions 8.6.51 and 9.6.0-alpha.40, the Pages route and legacy PublicAPI route for resending email verification links return distinguishable responses depending on whether the provided username exists and has an unverified email. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to enumerate valid usernames by observing different redirect targets. The existing emailVerifySuccessOnInvalidEmail configuration option, which is enabled by default and protects the API route against this, did not apply to these routes. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.51 and 9.6.0-alpha.40.

AVideo has Pre-Captcha User Enumeration and Account Status Disclosure in Password Recovery Endpoint
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the password recovery endpoint at `objects/userRecoverPass.php` performs user existence and account status checks before validating the captcha. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to enumerate valid usernames and determine whether accounts are active, inactive, or banned — at scale and without solving any captcha — by observing three distinct JSON error responses. Commit e42f54123b460fd1b2ee01f2ce3d4a386e88d157 contains a patch.

Parse Server has user enumeration via email verification endpoint
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to 8.6.34 and 9.6.0-alpha.8, the email verification endpoint (/verificationEmailRequest) returns distinct error responses depending on whether an email address belongs to an existing user, is already verified, or does not exist. An attacker can send requests with different email addresses and observe the error codes to determine which email addresses are registered in the application. This is a user enumeration vulnerability that affects any Parse Server deployment with email verification enabled (verifyUserEmails: true). This vulnerability is fixed in 8.6.34 and 9.6.0-alpha.8.

CWE-204 11/03/2026
Shopware has user enumeration via distinct error codes on Store API login endpoint
Shopware is an open commerce platform. Prior to 6.7.8.1 and 6.6.10.15, the Store API login endpoint (POST /store-api/account/login) returns different error codes depending on whether the submitted email address belongs to a registered customer (CHECKOUT__CUSTOMER_AUTH_BAD_CREDENTIALS) or is unknown (CHECKOUT__CUSTOMER_NOT_FOUND). The "not found" response also echoes the probed email address. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to enumerate valid customer accounts. The storefront login controller correctly unifies both error paths, but the Store API does not — indicating an inconsistent defense. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.7.8.1 and 6.6.10.15.
