Omnispace Agora Project < 26.10.0 Session Fixation via Authentication
Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains a session fixation vulnerability that allows remote attackers to hijack authenticated sessions by planting a known session identifier in a victim's browser prior to login. Attackers can exploit the application's failure to regenerate the session id upon successful authentication to gain unauthorized access to the victim's authenticated session after they log in.

CVE-2026-107226 Média · 6.8 CWE-384 12/10/2026
AsyncHttpClient: Cookies received over plaintext HTTP can plant, overwrite or delete Secure cookies set over HTTPS
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.1.0 until 3.0.14, the default ThreadSafeCookieStore does not retain whether a Set-Cookie response used a secure transport. It accepts Secure cookies received over plaintext and permits insecure cookies to overlay or delete existing Secure cookies with matching scope. An attacker controlling a plaintext same-site response can consequently plant, replace, or remove cookie state later sent to an HTTPS origin, enabling session fixation, CSRF-token replacement, or loss of security-relevant state. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.
CVE-2026-107229 Média · 4.0 CWE-384 07/10/2026
AsyncHttpClient: Incomplete origin checks in the default cookie store allow cookie tossing onto public-suffix and IP-address hosts
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.16.0 until 3.0.14, ThreadSafeCookieStore incompletely validates cookie Domain attributes. Missing private-section and default public-suffix rules, absent A-label normalization, locale-sensitive lowercasing, public-suffix host-only handling, and numeric or IP host checks allow one origin to store a cookie later sent to another origin. Applications sharing one client across trust domains can therefore receive attacker-injected cookies and may be exposed to session fixation. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.

Apache Jackrabbit: Pre-auth hijack of cached sessions via derivable WebDAV lock tokens
: Session Fixation / Session Reuse across Users vulnerability in Apache Jackrabbit. This issue affects Apache Jackrabbit: from 2.23.0 through 2.23.5, from 2.22.0 through 2.22.4, from 2.20.0 through 2.20.17. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 2.23.6, 2.22.5, or 2.20.18 which fix the issue.

A vulnerability has been found in kishor-23 food-waste-management-system 411989e3ecb82895e53dca7865f72145f03d7d93/b3a70b2c492dc9904de5be1ad9389bd79b87f82c. This affects an unknown function of the file login.php of the component Login Flow. Such manipulation of the argument PHPSESSID leads to session fixiation. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product does not use versioning. This is why information about affected and unaffected releases are unavailable. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.

YesWiki before 4.6.7 Session Fixation via Login in AuthController.php
YesWiki before 4.6.7 contains a session fixation vulnerability that allows attackers to hijack authenticated sessions because login does not regenerate the PHP session ID. Attackers who set or learn a victim's pre-authentication YesWiki-* session cookie can reuse it after login to access private content and perform actions with the victim's privileges.

Session fixation in KTM System e-BOK
KTM System e-BOK allows the session identifier to be set by the client prior to authentication. If a cookie with a valid name is set, its value remains unchanged after successful login. This behaviour enables an attacker to fix a session ID for a victim and later hijack the authenticated session. This issue was fixed in the patch published in June 2026.
CVE-2026-40082 Média · 5.4 CWE-384 25/06/2026
Cacti: Session Fixation via missing session_regenerate_id() after login
Cacti is an open source performance and fault management framework. Versions 1.2.30 and prior have missing session_regenerate_id() after login, leading to Session Fixation. session_regenerate_id() is NOT called after successful login. The login flow at auth_login.php:203-207 directly sets $_SESSION[SESS_USER_ID] without rotating the session ID. The session cookie configuration is otherwise good (httponly=true, samesite=Strict, secure=true for HTTPS at include/global.php:513-537), but these do not prevent session fixation via same-site vectors. This issue has been fixed in version 1.2.31.
CVE-2026-56425 Alta · 8.8 CWE-384 22/06/2026
MISP AAD authentication plugin - Improper OAuth State Handling, Missing Session Rotation, Insecure Redirect URI Validation, and Log Injection
The Azure Active Directory (AAD) authentication implementation contained multiple weaknesses in its OAuth 2.0 authorization flow that could allow attackers to bypass important security guarantees provided by the protocol. The application used the PHP session identifier (session_id()) as the OAuth state parameter. Because session identifiers are long-lived authentication credentials, exposing them in OAuth redirect URLs could leak valid session tokens through browser history, HTTP Referer headers, reverse proxies, access logs, or third-party infrastructure involved in the authentication flow. If obtained by an attacker, the leaked session identifier could potentially be used for session hijacking. Additionally, the implementation did not regenerate the session identifier after successful authentication, leaving authenticated sessions susceptible to session fixation attacks where an attacker forces a victim to use a known session identifier before login and later reuses that identifier after authentication. The OAuth state value was also not implemented as a dedicated, single-use nonce. This weakened CSRF protections and increased the risk of replay attacks against the OAuth callback process. The authentication flow further failed to enforce HTTPS for the configured OAuth redirect URI. If a non-HTTPS redirect URI was used, OAuth authorization codes and access tokens could traverse the network in plaintext, exposing sensitive credentials to network attackers. Finally, OAuth error responses containing attacker-controlled GET parameters were logged verbatim. An attacker could inject control characters or crafted log content, leading to log forging, log injection, or corruption of audit records. The fix introduces: * A dedicated cryptographically random OAuth state value. * Single-use state validation and invalidation. * Constant-time state comparison using hash_equals(). * Session identifier rotation after successful authentication. * Enforcement of HTTPS-only redirect URIs. * Sanitized and length-limited logging of OAuth error parameters. Session Fixation in QuickCMS
QuickCMS allows a user's session identifier to be set before authentication. The value of this session ID stays the same after authentication. This behaviour enables an attacker to fix a session ID for a victim and later hijack the authenticated session. This issue was fixed in a patch to version 6.8 published on 15.05.2026, deployments without this patch are still vulnerable.

Gradio < 6.15.0 Cookie Injection via Shared Proxy Client
Gradio before version 6.15.0 contains a cookie injection vulnerability that allows remote attackers to perform cross-Space session fixation by exploiting a shared module-level HTTP client used across all users in the reverse proxy endpoint. Attackers controlling any HF Space can return a parent-domain cookie that the shared client stores and automatically replays into all subsequent proxy requests to other legitimate Spaces, affecting all users of the same Gradio deployment.

Apache Shiro: Session fixation: new session is not created after login by default
Default configurations of Apache Shiro have a session fixation vulnerability. This issue affects Apache Shiro from 1.0 to 2.1.0, and 3.0.0-alpha-1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.1.1, or 3.0.0-alpha-2 or later, which fixes the issue. In the affected versions, when a session already exists, it is not invalidated upon successful login, nor is a new session being generated with a new ID.
