stigmem Plugin Signature Enforcement Bypass via Configuration
stigmem-node 0.9.0a1 allows plugin signature enforcement to be disabled via a single configuration flag without a second explicit acknowledgment. If that setting is carried into an environment where plugin directories are writable by less-trusted users, unsigned (potentially malicious) plugin code could be loaded and executed, resulting in arbitrary code execution. Fixed in 0.9.0a2, which requires a second explicit acknowledgment to disable signature enforcement.

CWE-494 03/08/2026
Improper Input Validation in nltk/nltk
In nltk version 3.9.4, the `nltk.downloader.Downloader._download_package()` function writes downloaded package bytes to disk and may extract them before enforcing SHA-256 or MD5 checksum validation. This allows an attacker to tamper with the package response body for `info.url` through a compromised mirror, malicious proxy, or other source-substitution condition, leading to the installation of attacker-controlled package bytes. The vulnerability can result in malicious corpus or model content being trusted by downstream users or applications.

Parse Server - Arbitrary Code Execution via Malicious Version Tags
Parse Server before 4.10.0 was affected by a supply chain incident in which incorrect version tags were pushed to the official repository pointing to an unreviewed personal fork of a contributor with write access. No releases were published with these tags; a project was exposed only if it defined a git-based dependency referencing one of the affected tags (for example, parse-server#4.9.3). The code behind the tags was not reviewed or approved, and although no malicious code was identified, the introduction of security vulnerabilities could not be ruled out.

Missing Signature Verification for Updates in Ollama
Ollama for Windows does not perform integrity or authenticity verification of downloaded update executables. Unlike other platforms, the Windows implementation of the update verification routine unconditionally returns success so no digital signature or trust validation is performed before staging or executing update payloads, enabling attacker‑supplied executables to be accepted and later executed by the application.
Critically, Ollama for Windows performs silent automatic updates, so the malicious payload may be installed automatically without user awareness.
Maintainers of this project were notified early about this vulnerability, but didn't respond with the details of vulnerability or vulnerable version range. Versions from 0.12.10 to 0.17.5 were tested and confirmed as vulnerable, other versions were not tested but might also be vulnerable.

FastGPT has Arbitrary Code Execution in GitHub Actions via pull_request_target in fastgpt-preview-image.yml
FastGPT is an AI Agent building platform. In versions 4.14.8.3 and below, the fastgpt-preview-image.yml workflow is vulnerable to arbitrary code execution and secret exfiltration by any external contributor. It uses pull_request_target (which runs with access to repository secrets) but checks out code from the pull request author's fork, then builds and pushes Docker images using attacker-controlled Dockerfiles. This also enables a supply chain attack via the production container registry. A patch was not available at the time of publication.

MajorDoMo Supply Chain Remote Code Execution via Update URL Poisoning
MajorDoMo (aka Major Domestic Module) is vulnerable to unauthenticated remote code execution through supply chain compromise via update URL poisoning. The saverestore module exposes its admin() method through the /objects/?module=saverestore endpoint without authentication because it uses gr('mode') (which reads directly from $_REQUEST) instead of the framework's $this->mode. An attacker can poison the system update URL via the auto_update_settings mode handler, then trigger the force_update handler to initiate the update chain. The autoUpdateSystem() method fetches an Atom feed from the attacker-controlled URL with trivial validation, downloads a tarball via curl with TLS verification disabled (CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER set to FALSE), extracts it using exec('tar xzvf ...'), and copies all extracted files to the document root using copyTree(). This allows an attacker to deploy arbitrary PHP files, including webshells, to the webroot with two GET requests.

Cisco Secure Web Appliance TBD Bypass Vulnerability
A vulnerability in the Dynamic Vectoring and Streaming (DVS) Engine implementation of Cisco AsyncOS Software for Cisco Secure Web Appliance could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass the anti-malware scanner, allowing malicious archive files to be downloaded.
This vulnerability is due to improper handling of certain archive files. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted archive file, which should be blocked, through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to bypass the anti-malware scanner and download malware onto an end user workstation. The downloaded malware will not automatically execute unless the end user extracts and launches the malicious file.
