CVE-2026-7824
Média · 5.9
CWE-532 05/05/2026
PaperCut Hive (Ricoh): Plain text password in logs
An issue was discovered in the PaperCut Hive Ricoh embedded application. When the "Deep Logging" (diagnostic) mode is enabled, the application inadvertently records administrative credentials in plain text within the log files.
An attacker with administrative access to the PaperCut Hive management portal could remotely enable deep logging and subsequently retrieve sensitive device passwords from the logs after an authorized user authenticates at the device. This exposure allows for the lateral movement or unauthorized configuration of the physical print hardware.

Oxia: Bearer token exposed in debug log messages on authentication failure
Oxia is a metadata store and coordination system. Prior to 0.16.2, when OIDC authentication fails, the full bearer token is logged at DEBUG level in plaintext. If debug logging is enabled in production, JWT tokens are exposed in application logs and any connected log aggregation system. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.16.2.

CWE-532 16/04/2026
Valtimo: Sensitive data exposure through inbox message logging in InboxHandlingService
Valtimo is an open-source business process automation platform. In versions 13.0.0 through 13.21.0, the InboxHandlingService logs the full content of every incoming inbox message at INFO level. Inbox messages can contain highly sensitive information including personal data (PII), citizen identifiers (BSN), and case details. This data is exposed to anyone with access to application logs or any Valtimo user with the admin role through the Admin UI logging module. This issue has been fixed in version 13.22.0. If developers are unable to upgrade immediately, they can restrict access to application logs and adjust the log level for com.ritense.inbox to WARN or higher in their application configuration as a workaround.

SpiceDB: SPICEDB_DATASTORE_CONN_URI is leaked on startup logs
SpiceDB is an open source database system for creating and managing security-critical application permissions. In versions 1.49.0 through 1.51.0, when SpiceDB starts with log level info, the startup "configuration" log will include the full datastore DSN, including the plaintext password, inside DatastoreConfig.URI. This issue has been fixed in version 1.51.1. If users are unable to immediately upgrade, they can work around this issue by changing the log level to warn or error.

Apache Airflow: Secrets from Airflow config file logged in plain text in DAG run logs UI
Before Airflow 3.2.0, it was unclear that secure Airflow deployments require the Deployment Manager to take appropriate actions and pay attention to security details and security model of Airflow. Some assumptions the Deployment Manager could make were not clear or explicit enough, even though Airflow's intentions and security model of Airflow did not suggest different assumptions. The overall security model [1], workload isolation [2], and JWT authentication details [3] are now described in more detail. Users concerned with role isolation and following the Airflow security model of Airflow are advised to upgrade to Airflow 3.2, where several security improvements have been implemented. They should also read and follow the relevant documents to make sure that their deployment is secure enough. It also clarifies that the Deployment Manager is ultimately responsible for securing your Airflow deployment. This had also been communicated via Airflow 3.2.0 Blog announcement [4].

Apache Cassandra: cqlsh history sensitive information leak
Sensitive Information Leak in cqlsh in Apache Cassandra 4.0 allows access to sensitive information, like passwords, from previously executed cqlsh command via ~/.cassandra/cqlsh_history local file access.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.20, which fixes this issue.
--
Description: Cassandra's command-line tool, cqlsh, provides a command history feature that allows users to recall previously executed commands using the up/down arrow keys. These history records are saved in the ~/.cassandra/cqlsh_history file in the user's home directory.
However, cqlsh does not redact sensitive information when saving command history. This means that if a user executes operations involving passwords (such as logging in or creating users) within cqlsh, these passwords are permanently stored in cleartext in the history file on the disk.
