CVE-2026-49866 Alta · 7.5 CWE-770 08/07/2026
libp2p: CPU DoS via oversized IHAVE and IWANT control message arrays
libp2p is a JavaScript Implementation of libp2p networking stack. Prior to 16.0.0, @libp2p/gossipsub defaultDecodeRpcLimits set maxIhaveMessageIDs and maxIwantMessageIDs to Infinity, allowing oversized IHAVE and IWANT control message arrays in message/decodeRpc.ts and gossipsub.ts to synchronously iterate roughly 180,000 message IDs per 4 MB frame and block the Node.js event loop. This issue is fixed in version 16.0.0.

LiquidJS: `pop` filter bypasses `memoryLimit` accounting that its array-filter siblings enforce
LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to 10.27.1, the pop array filter at src/filters/array.ts allocated a full clone of its input array via [...toArray(v)] without calling this.context.memoryLimit.use(...), allowing a template render such as {{ huge_array | pop }} to allocate an O(N) clone of an attacker-influenced array outside the configured memoryLimit budget. This issue is fixed in version 10.27.1.

js-yaml: YAML merge-key chains can force quadratic CPU consumption
js-yaml is a JavaScript YAML parser and dumper. From 5.0.0 before 5.2.0, when merge keys are enabled, js-yaml can spend quadratic CPU time parsing a document whose size grows only linearly when a chain of mappings uses merge keys where each mapping merges the previous one. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.0.
CVE-2026-59870 Alta · 7.5 CWE-770 08/07/2026
js-yaml quadratic-complexity denial of service via YAML11_SCHEMA !!omap parsing
js-yaml is a JavaScript YAML parser and dumper. Prior to 3.15.1, 4.3.1, and 5.2.1, YAML11_SCHEMA support for the !!omap tag in src/tag/sequence/omap.ts uses omapTag.addItem() to perform a linear duplicate-key scan on every insertion, causing O(n^2) CPU consumption when yaml.load() parses a crafted ordered-map document. In v3 and v4, !!omap is active and exploitable by default. v5 doesn't use !!omap by default, and the chances of activating it are very low. This issue is fixed in 3.15.1, 4.3.1, and 5.2.1.

App::Ack versions before 3.10.0 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via an unbounded context value in a project .ackrc
App::Ack versions before 3.10.0 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via an unbounded context value in a project .ackrc. ack searches up the directory hierarchy from the current directory for a project .ackrc and loads its options. The -B and -C context options accepted any positive integer, and ack sized the before-context buffer to that value, so a project .ackrc setting --before-context=100000000 made ack allocate a buffer of 100 million elements. A project .ackrc committed to an untrusted repository can abort ack with an out-of-memory condition.

Coder vulnerable to denial of service via unbounded request body in AI Bridge provider endpoints
Coder allows organizations to provision remote development environments via Terraform. Starting in version 2.33.0 and prior to versions 2.33.8 and 2.34.2, AI Bridge provider handlers read request bodies with `io.ReadAll` without a maximum size so an authenticated user with AI Bridge access could send an arbitrarily large body and exhaust memory. Exploitation requires authenticated access to the AI Bridge endpoints and the impact is limited to availability (denial of service). Versions 2.33.8 and 2.34.2 patch the issue. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2026-56811 Alta · 7.5 CWE-770 07/07/2026
Phoenix transports do not limit channel joins per connection, enabling process-exhaustion denial of service
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in phoenixframework phoenix (Phoenix.Socket module) allows an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service against any endpoint that mounts a Phoenix socket with a reachable channel transport (WebSocket or LongPoll). This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/phoenix/socket.ex and program routine 'Elixir.Phoenix.Socket':handle_in/4. Phoenix transports do not limit the number of channels that a single transport process may join. Every phx_join message a client sends over one connection starts a persistent channel process, and the socket process accepts an unbounded number of them. A single unauthenticated client can therefore open one WebSocket or LongPoll connection and stream a large number of phx_join messages, spawning hundreds of thousands of channel processes over that one connection and eventually reaching the BEAM maximum process limit. Once the process table is exhausted the virtual machine can no longer start new processes, denying service to legitimate traffic across the whole node. Because the amplification happens inside a single connection, network-layer connection caps and rate limiting do not mitigate it. The fix adds a :max_channels_per_transport option (default 100) that bounds the number of channels a single transport process can join, forcing abusive clients to open many connections instead, where external load balancers and reverse proxies can throttle them. This issue affects phoenix: from 0.11.0 before 1.5.15, from 1.6.0-rc.0 before 1.6.17, from 1.7.0-rc.0 before 1.7.24, and from 1.8.0-rc.0 before 1.8.9.

OP-TEE has missing OPTEE_MSG_ATTR_TYPE_MASK in cleanup_shm_refs() leaks mobj references
OP-TEE is a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) designed as companion to a non-secure Linux kernel running on Arm; Cortex-A cores using the TrustZone technology. Starting in version 3.3.0 and prior to version 4.11.0, a resource leak exists in OP-TEE’s shared memory cleanup logic because the function `cleanup_shm_refs()` in `core/tee/entry_std.c` fails to apply a required bitmask (`OPTEE_MSG_ATTR_TYPE_MASK`) to parameter attributes. When processing non-contiguous memory parameters from a normal-world caller, the system fails to match the attribute type in its internal switch statement and skips the necessary mobj_put() call. This results in a persistent reference leak of `mobj_reg_shm` objects, which remain on internal lists with dangling refcounts. This affects non-FF-A configurations that support non-contiguous, non-secure shared memory. Over time, these accumulated leaks progressively consume the secure-world heap, degrading the system's ability to service trusted application operations and eventually requiring a reboot to recover. Version 4.11.0 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available.

mint buffers an entire chunked response chunk in memory in Mint.HTTP1.decode_body/5
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-mint mint (Mint.HTTP1 module) allows a denial of service via an oversized chunked transfer-encoded response. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/mint/http1.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Mint.HTTP1':decode_body/5, 'Elixir.Mint.HTTP1':add_body_to_buffer/2. When Mint decodes a chunked HTTP response body, it accumulates each partial fragment of the current chunk in the connection's data_buffer (an unbounded iolist) via add_body_to_buffer/2 and does not emit the data to the caller until the full declared chunk length has been received. The chunk size is taken directly from the server and parsed with no upper bound, so a malicious or compromised server can announce one enormous chunk (for example a size line of 7FFFFFFF, about 2 GiB) and then send the body bytes slowly without ever completing the chunk. The client buffers every received byte while it waits for a completion that never arrives, and because no data responses are produced until the chunk finishes, a caller that otherwise streams large content-length bodies safely gains no protection. An unauthenticated remote server (reachable whenever a client follows redirects, fetches user-supplied URLs, or processes webhooks) can drive the client's memory arbitrarily high and trigger an out-of-memory condition. This issue affects mint: from 0.5.0 before 1.9.1.

Eclipse Wakaama CoAP Block1 Handler Unbounded Memory Allocation DoS
Eclipse Wakaama before snapshot/2026-05-26 contains an unbounded memory allocation vulnerability in the CoAP Block1 handler within coap/block.c that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exhaust server memory by sending a sequence of Block1 PUT requests with incrementing block numbers. Attackers can target the registration endpoint over UDP without authentication, causing the server to repeatedly reallocate a growing accumulation buffer by appending each block payload without enforcing any maximum total size limit, resulting in denial of service through memory exhaustion.

Atom-table exhaustion denial-of-service via JSON parse_document in MDEx
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in leandrocp MDEx allows Excessive Allocation. MDEx.parse_document/2 accepts a {:json, json} source. In lib/mdex.ex, the private json_to_node/1 function passes the attacker-controlled node_type value to Module.concat/1, which calls String.to_atom/1 and interns a brand-new atom for every distinct value. Atoms are never garbage collected on the BEAM, so a crafted JSON document carrying a unique node_type at each (deeply nested) node mints one permanent atom per node. A single document can intern hundreds of thousands of atoms, and a large enough document exhausts the default atom table (around 1,048,576 atoms) and aborts the entire Erlang VM, taking down every process on the node. Any application that passes untrusted input to the {:json, ...} source of MDEx.parse_document is exposed to an unauthenticated denial-of-service. This issue affects mdex from 0.4.3 before 0.13.2.
