CWE-79 15/09/2026
Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Stored XSS via SVG upload in "Reject" sanitization mode
Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 contained a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in SVG file handling. When SVG processing was set to the non-default "Reject files containing potentially harmful elements" mode (concrete.file_manager.images.svg_sanitization.action = reject), uploaded SVGs were checked only against a small built-in blocklist covering the script element and on* event-handler attributes; the broader enshrined/svg-sanitize pass still ran, but its result was discarded, so vectors it would have stripped, such as a javascript: URI in an xlink:href, were stored unmodified and executed when the file was opened directly. A user able to upload files could thereby run arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of any user who viewed the file. The default sanitize mode was not affected. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 1.8 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:A/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Oriol Ortiz for reporting.

Concrete CMS 9.4.0 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Cross-site scripting in the location panel duplicate-path confirmation dialog
Concrete CMS 9.4.0 through 9.5.2 did not escape colliding page paths before rendering them in the location panel's duplicate-path confirmation dialog. The panel's check endpoint returned the submitted path unmodified in its JSON response, and client-side JavaScript inserted each value into the dialog as raw HTML, so a crafted page path executed script in the editor's authenticated browser session. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.0 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:L/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) via Conversation Custom Date Format
Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 improperly neutralized a user-supplied custom date format when rendering conversation messages, resulting in reflected cross-site scripting. An attacker could execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of a user who was tricked into submitting a crafted POST request to the conversation view endpoint. Exploitation was aided by the absence of a CSRF token on the endpoint, which allowed the payload to be delivered through an auto-submitting cross-origin POST without authentication. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:P/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Concrete CMS below 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Stored XSS via unescaped Express entry labels in association selectors
Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 rendered Express entry labels as raw HTML when displaying associated entries, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. An unauthenticated attacker could submit a payload through a public Express Form; it then executed in an administrator's dashboard session when the associated entry was viewed, or in the browser of any visitor to a page using an Express Entry List block with association columns, allowing actions to be performed with that user's privileges. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks v01demort for reporting.

CWE-79 15/09/2026
Concrete CMS 9.0 to 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Stored XSS via group folder name on the Members > Groups dashboard
Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 stored group folder names without sanitization and printed them unescaped on the Members > Groups dashboard page, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. The add and edit group-folder handlers stored the submitted folder name without neutralizing HTML, and the group search grid returned it without output encoding, so the Groups dashboard rendered the name as live markup. An authenticated user holding the Add Group Folder permission could store a script payload as a folder name that executed in the session of any administrator who viewed the Groups dashboard, enabling session and token theft and any action available in the administrator's context. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. CWE-79 15/09/2026
Concrete CMS below version 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Stored XSS via country-less Address attribute in Express association views
In Concrete CMS below version 9.5.3, the Address attribute's country-less text formatter skipped HTML-escaping, enabling stored XSS in Express association views. A user able to submit an Address attribute could execute script in the session of any dashboard user who opened the affected entry. The unescaped branch was reachable because a non-required Address attribute accepted a blank country, and because several Express association templates (for example concrete/elements/express/form/view/dashboard/association.php) echoed the association label mask without applying h(). The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.5 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Concrete CMS 9.0 to 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Stored XSS in the Top Navigation Bar Block via Dropdown Child Page Names
In Concrete CMS 9.0 to 9.5.2, the Top Navigation Bar block did not HTML-escape dropdown child page names before writing them into the page, so a user who could create or rename pages could store a script through a child page name and have it run in the browser of any visitor, editor, or administrator who viewed the navigation and opened the affected dropdown. In the Concrete CMS origin, the script executed with the victim's privileges and could read same-origin content or perform actions available to that user. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.5 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks labixiaoxin97 for reporting.

Média · 5.4
CWE-79 15/09/2026
Concrete CMS below version 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Stored XSS via Express form Text control save_control
In Concrete CMS below CMS 9.5.3, the save_control action in the Express entities forms dashboard controller did not validate the anti-CSRF token. By causing an authenticated administrator to submit a forged cross-site request, a remote attacker without credentials could write attacker-controlled headline and body values to an existing Express form Text control. Those values were emitted without output encoding by the Express form Text element, so the injected markup executed as persistent JavaScript for any administrator who later opened the affected entry, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.7 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. CWE-79 15/09/2026
Concrete CMS below version 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Stored XSS in Concrete CMS Form Submissions Report via Unescaped Question Label
Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 does not apply HTML entity encoding to user-defined Form block question labels when rendering them as column headers in the Dashboard Form Submissions report (concrete/single_pages/dashboard/reports/forms/legacy.php). a rogue editor could store markup or script in a label that then executes in the browser of any administrator who opens the submissions report for the affected form, producing stored cross-site scripting in the Dashboard. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 8.4 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Média · 5.4
CWE-79 15/09/2026
Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to Stored DOM-based Cross-site Scripting (XSS) in the Gallery block image Caption field
Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to stored DOM-based Cross-site Scripting (XSS) via the Gallery block's per-image Caption field because the bundled Magnific Popup lightbox script (concrete/js/features/imagery/frontend.js) re-parses the attribute-decoded caption as HTML through jQuery's .append() in titleSrc instead of inserting it as text. A user with permission to edit a page containing a Gallery block can store a caption that executes in the browser of any visitor who opens that image's lightbox. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v.4.0 score of 8.5 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. EmbedVideo Extension: Stored XSS via malformed src url with $wgEmbedVideoRequireConsent enabled
The EmbedVideo Extension is a MediaWiki extension which adds a parser function called #ev and various parser tags for embedding video clips from various video sharing services. Prior to 4.1.0, with the default $wgEmbedVideoRequireConsent configuration enabled, includes/EmbedService/EmbedHtmlFormatter.php places JSON returned through includes/EmbedService/AbstractEmbedService.php into the data-mw-iframeconfig attribute without safely escaping single quotes. Attacker-controlled archiveorg identifiers and wistia or sharepoint URLs accepted by the affected service validators can cause getUrl() output to terminate the attribute and inject event-handler attributes into the generated figure element. A user able to edit a wiki page can store JavaScript that executes in the wiki origin when visitors render the page. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.0.
