Plane is an open-source project management tool. In 1.3.1 and earlier, ProjectMemberViewSet.partial_update places its authorization checks inside the role update branch, so a guest or member can omit role and change another ProjectMember record's is_active field, including deactivating a project administrator. ProjectMemberPreferenceEndpoint.patch separately trusts the member_id path value and lets a project member overwrite another member's preferences. These missing object-level authorization checks permit membership disruption and cross-member preference tampering. The vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.0.

GrowChief through 0.3.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the getAllUsers handler that allows any authenticated user to list users across all organizations because the IsSuperAdmin guard is absent. Attackers with a self-registered low-privilege account can send an empty or short search value to GET /users/all-users to enumerate user ids, emails, names and organization IDs of every tenant.

Sure 0.7.0 through 0.7.6-alpha.6 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in Transactions::BulkUpdatesController#create that allows family members to bypass account sharing permissions. Zulip is an open-source team collaboration tool. In Zulip Server versions through 12.1, guest users can receive new message events for public channels outside their subscriptions. A guest can trigger the issue by registering an event queue with parameters that request messages from an unsubscribed public channel, or an existing event queue can remain affected after the guest's access to the channel is removed. The flaw discloses new public-channel messages to the guest. This issue is fixed in version 12.2.

we-mp-rss through 1.5.3 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the /api/v1/wx/tools/export/download endpoint that allows unauthenticated attackers to download export archives because its authentication dependency is commented out. The JNews - Jeg Elementor Kit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on both the 'jkit_post_block' and 'jeg_find_author' AJAX actions in versions up to, and including, 3.2.19. The 'wp_ajax_jkit_post_block' handler (registered generically for every element via wp_ajax_{$element_id} in Elements_Option_Abstract::setup_hook) returns the element's full option schema — including a freshly minted wp_create_nonce('jeg_find_author') — to any authenticated caller, and the 'wp_ajax_jeg_find_author' handler then runs a WP_User_Query with the attacker-supplied 'query' wrapped in '*…*' against search_columns that include user_email, echoing the ID and display_name of every matching user. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to enumerate every registered user of the site and to reconstruct arbitrary users' email addresses one character at a time by using the substring search as an oracle.
