389-ds-base: 389-ds: anonymous ldap client can defeat selfdn aci bind-rule checks via empty bind dn
A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. The SELFDN ACI bind-rule evaluator incorrectly matches an anonymous LDAP client's empty bind DN against an empty stored attribute value, allowing an unauthenticated client to satisfy access control checks intended to require a matching authenticated identity. This can allow an anonymous LDAP client to perform an operation, such as adding or modifying a directory entry, that a SELFDN-based ACI intended to restrict to a specific authenticated user.

CWE-863 07/09/2026
Incorrect Authorization em Eclipse Foundation Eclipse Ankaios
In Eclipse Ankaios versions v0.5.1 through v1.0.1, the agent-side Control Interface authorizer incorrectly evaluates multi-segment allow rules whose first path segment is a wildcard. An authenticated workload with access restricted by such a rule can submit a CompleteStateRequest or UpdateStateRequest with an empty field mask. The request may then be incorrectly authorized as matching the scoped rule, allowing the workload to read the complete cluster state or replace state outside its authorized subtree. This may result in unauthorized disclosure or modification of other workloads and cluster configuration. Only a rule consisting solely of * is intended to authorize an empty mask.
Mitigation: Until an update containing the fix is installed, avoid multi-segment Control Interface allow-rule filter masks that begin with a wildcard, such as *.workloads.some_workload. Replace them with explicit paths such as desiredState.workloads.some_workload, where applicable. A filter mask consisting solely of * has different, intentionally unrestricted semantics and should only be used when full-state access is intended.

MISP Attribute Deletion Authorization Bypass Allows Users Without Modify Permissions to Delete Attributes
An incorrect authorization vulnerability in MISP allowed authenticated users to delete attributes from events despite lacking the required perm_modify or perm_modify_org permissions.
The affected attribute deletion paths relied on organization membership checks performed by MispAttribute::deleteAttribute() but did not consistently enforce MISP's event modification authorization rules. Consequently, a user belonging to the organization associated with an event could potentially delete individual attributes or perform bulk attribute deletion even when their assigned role was not authorized to modify the event.
This created an inconsistency between attribute editing and deletion: editing an attribute correctly used MISP's ACL::canModifyEvent() authorization logic, whereas the affected deletion operations could bypass these permission checks.
An authenticated attacker with access to an affected MISP instance and membership in the organization owning an event could exploit this flaw to remove attributes from that event, potentially causing unauthorized modification or loss of threat intelligence data.
The patch introduces a common authorization check for all affected deletion paths. Before deletion, MISP now resolves the associated events and verifies that the current user is authorized to modify each event using the same authorization mechanism used by normal event and attribute modification operations.

CWE-863 04/09/2026
WPFunnels < 3.13.0 - Unauthenticated User Registration via Opt-in Forms
The WPFunnels WordPress plugin before 3.13.0 does not check whether user registration is enabled on the site before creating accounts from opt-in form submissions, relying on a value supplied in the request instead, allowing unauthenticated attackers to create WordPress user accounts even when registration is disabled.
This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2025-12353: the check added in 3.6.3 covers only one of the three registration paths.

n8n before 2.36.2 Credential Exfiltration via Workflow Tool Node
n8n before 2.35.4 and 2.36.x before 2.36.2 does not validate credential references in the inline workflow JSON of nodes that execute an inline sub-workflow (e.g., the Workflow Tool node). A shared-workflow editor, or any user creating/updating a workflow via the REST API, Public API, or MCP, can persist a node referencing a credential they do not own. When the workflow is later executed under an identity that holds the credential, the inline sub-workflow resolves the secret and can send it to an attacker-controlled endpoint, resulting in credential exfiltration.
