Vscode-java: vscode: command injection vulnerability in the javadoc hover provider of the vscode-java extension
A flaw was found in the vscode-java extension, which provides Java language support for Visual Studio Code. The extension incorrectly trusts all Markdown content in JavaDoc hovers, allowing a malicious Java file to include hidden commands. If a user clicks a specially crafted link within a JavaDoc hover popup, an attacker can execute arbitrary VS Code commands, which can lead to full system compromise in trusted workspaces.
CVE-2026-50014 Alta · 7.3 CWE-88 25/06/2026
pnpm: Git Fetch Argument Injection via Lockfile resolution.commit
pnpm is a package manager. Prior to 10.34.0 and 11.4.0, pnpm passes the lockfile-controlled git resolution.commit value to git fetch without a -- separator or commit-format validation. For git dependencies fetched through the shallow-fetch path, a malicious lockfile can replace the expected 40-character commit hash with a Git option such as --upload-pack=<command>. For SSH and local transports, --upload-pack can execute the supplied command. HTTPS transports ignore --upload-pack, so the practical attack surface is primarily SSH or local git dependencies. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.34.0 and 11.4.0.
CVE-2026-48793 Alta · 8.8 CWE-88 24/06/2026
Jellyfin: Potential FFmpeg argument injection via unescaped subtitle file path
Jellyfin is an open source self hosted media server. Prior to 10.11.10, a potential FFmpeg argument injection vulnerability exists in the subtitle conversion code path. SubtitleEncoder.ConvertTextSubtitleToSrtInternal (SubtitleEncoder.cs, line 382) interpolates the subtitle file path into FFmpeg command-line arguments without calling EncodingUtils.NormalizePath(). On Linux, filenames can contain double-quote characters, which break the argument quoting and allow injection of arbitrary FFmpeg arguments. The vulnerability is reachable without authentication via SubtitleController.GetSubtitle, which has no [Authorize] attribute. An attacker who can place a file in a Jellyfin media library directory (shared NAS, Samba share, guest upload) can achieve arbitrary file write on the server and information disclosure. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.11.10.

mcp-server-kubernetes: kubectl-generic flag injection enables Kubernetes bearer token exfiltration
mcp-server-kubernetes is a Model Context Protocol server for Kubernetes cluster management. Prior to version 3.7.0, the kubectl_generic tool in mcp-server-kubernetes passes user-supplied flags directly to kubectl without any allowlist, enabling a privilege escalation attack within Kubernetes environments. An attacker who already has limited cluster or codebase access, for example, a developer with pod-deployment permissions but not cluster-admin credentials, can plant a single structured JSON line in an application's log output. When an operator with a privileged kubeconfig uses the MCP server to read those logs and their AI agent follows the injected instruction, kubectl_generic is called with --server=https://attacker.example.com and --insecure-skip-tls-verify=true. kubectl sends all API requests, including the Authorization: Bearer <token> header from the operator's kubeconfig to the attacker's endpoint. The captured token can then be replayed directly against the real Kubernetes API server, granting the attacker the full RBAC permissions of the operator's service account. This issue has been patched in version 3.7.0.

CVE-2026-44450 Crítica · 9.9 CWE-88 26/05/2026
Lumiverse: RCE via MCP stdio argument injection
Lumiverse is a full-featured AI chat application. Prior to 0.9.7, the MCP server creation endpoint validates the command field against an allowlist of binary names but forwards the args array to the child process without any validation. Every binary on the allowlist accepts an inline-code execution flag (-e for node/bun, -c for python3/deno), giving any logged-in user arbitrary OS-level code execution on the Lumiverse server. The route requires only requireAuth (not requireOwner). The server binds on all interfaces (::) and the host-header rebinding check is bypassed trivially by any HTTP client that sends Host: localhost:<port> directly, making this exploitable from any machine with network access to the server port. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.7.
CVE-2026-3515 Alta · 8.5 CWE-88 24/05/2026
Argument Injection in prefecthq/prefect
A vulnerability in the `GitHubRepository` block of the `prefect-github` integration in Prefect version 3.6.18 allows an attacker to inject arbitrary git command-line options via the `reference` field. The `reference` field is concatenated directly into a `git clone` command string without proper sanitization, and then parsed by `shlex.split()`. This enables injection of options such as `-c`, leading to potential Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), credential theft, or remote code execution (RCE). The vulnerability affects both the `aget_directory()` and `get_directory()` methods in `src/integrations/prefect-github/prefect_github/repository.py`. This issue does not affect the GitLab and BitBucket integrations, which use a safer list-based command construction approach.
CVE-2026-47114 Alta · 8.8 CWE-88 21/05/2026
IINA < 1.4.3 Command Execution via iina://open URL Scheme
IINA before 1.4.3 contains a user-assisted command execution vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by supplying malicious mpv_-prefixed query parameters through the iina://open custom URL scheme handler. Attackers can deliver a crafted URL via a browser that passes unvalidated mpv_options/input-commands parameters into the mpv runtime, causing arbitrary command execution as the current macOS user upon approval of the browser protocol prompt without requiring a valid media file.

The Adversarial Robustness Toolbox (ART) thru 1.20.1 contains a command-line argument…
The Adversarial Robustness Toolbox (ART) thru 1.20.1 contains a command-line argument injection vulnerability in its Kubeflow component (robustness_evaluation_fgsm_pytorch.py). The script uses the unsafe eval() function to parse string values provided via the --clip_values and --input_shape command-line arguments. This allows an attacker to inject arbitrary Python code into these arguments, which will be executed when eval() is called. The vulnerability can be exploited remotely if an attacker can control these arguments (e.g., through pipeline configuration or automated scripts), leading to arbitrary code execution on the system running the ART evaluation.

This could allow an authenticated remote attacker to read arbitrary files from the underlying operating system's filesystem with root privileges.
CVE-2026-43893 Alta · 8.2 CWE-88 11/05/2026
exiftool-vendored: Argument injection via newline characters in tag names
exiftool-vendored provides cross-platform Node.js access to ExifTool. Prior to 35.19.0, exiftool-vendored starts ExifTool in -stay_open True -@ - mode, where arguments are read from stdin one per line. In affected versions, several caller-supplied strings were interpolated into ExifTool arguments without rejecting line delimiters. A newline or carriage return inside one of those strings could split a single intended argument into multiple ExifTool arguments, allowing argument injection. The fix also rejects NUL bytes as unsafe control characters. Applications that pass attacker-controlled strings to affected APIs may allow an attacker to make ExifTool read files accessible to the ExifTool process, or write output to attacker-chosen file system paths accessible to that process. No remote code execution has been demonstrated. This vulnerability is fixed in 35.19.0.
