CVE-2026-74866 Média · 5.8 CWE-93 21/08/2026
@fastify/busboy vulnerable to CRLF injection via multipart Content-Disposition filename and name
@fastify/busboy is a multipart form-data parser for Node.js. Its multipart part-header parser splits header lines only on the two-byte carriage-return line-feed sequence, so a lone carriage return or line feed embedded in a part header is not treated as a line break and is carried verbatim into the parsed Content-Disposition filename and field name handed to the application. An attacker who uploads a file whose filename or field name contains a bare carriage return or line feed can inject control characters into consumers that trust the parser to return clean values, enabling filesystem filename pollution, log forging, or header injection when the value is forwarded to a carriage-return-sensitive sink. All versions of @fastify/busboy up to and including 3.2.1 are affected. The issue is fixed in version 3.2.2, which rejects any header line that still contains a bare carriage return or line feed. Users should upgrade to 3.2.2, and consumers such as @fastify/multipart should bump their @fastify/busboy dependency to pull in the fix.

HTTP/2 header field values containing CR, LF or NUL are passed to the application unvalidated in Bandit
Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to smuggle CR, LF, or NUL characters into application-visible request headers via HTTP/2. Bandit.HTTP2.Stream.read_headers/1 validates pseudo-header placement and uniqueness, header-name casing, connection-specific headers, the te value, and content-length, but never checks field values. Because HPACK carries arbitrary octets, a HEADERS block whose field values contain \r, \n, or \0 decodes without error and the values land in conn.req_headers unchanged. The HTTP/1 path already rejects the same octets; HTTP/2 did not. Bandit itself is not a sink for the injected bytes: its own logging uses fixed strings or inspect, and HTTP/2 response headers are HPACK-encoded and separately rejected by Plug's put_resp_header, so response splitting is not reachable through this path. The risk is entirely in how a downstream application consumes header values, such as appending one verbatim to a plain-text log or concatenating it into an upstream request. A related gap bundled in the same fix: only :method, :scheme, and :path were checked for at most one occurrence; a duplicate :authority pseudo-header was accepted, with the first instance silently winning as conn.host while a conflicting value remained visible to the application. This issue affects bandit: from 1.4.0 before 1.12.5.

MyBB: Email User CRLF injection
MyBB is free and open source forum software. Prior to 1.8.40, the Email User controller does not sanitize sender names correctly, resulting in mail header injection. member.php?action=do_emailuser accepts the fromname HTTP parameter for guests or the stored username for authenticated users when the cansendemail group permission is enabled. When mail_handler is set to the default PHP mail value, the sender name is used without sanitization in Return-Path and Reply-To headers, allowing arbitrary headers to be injected with CRLF sequences. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.40.

rsync < 3.5.0 Newline Injection via name-converter uid/gid mapping
rsync before 3.5.0 contains a newline injection vulnerability in the name-converter uid/gid mapping interface that allows local attackers to forge protocol messages by creating user or group names containing newline characters. Attackers can inject malicious newline characters into names communicated over the pipe-based line-oriented protocol to cause the rsync daemon to process attacker-influenced data as legitimate protocol input, corrupting uid/gid mapping logic.

Libvirt: libvirt: newline injection in network xml dns txt/srv fields allows dnsmasq config directive injection
An injection vulnerability was found in libvirt's virtual network driver. The network XML parser does not strip newline characters from DNS TXT record value attributes and SRV record domain/target attributes. These values are written verbatim into the dnsmasq configuration file generated by the network driver, allowing a user with permission to define virtual networks to inject arbitrary dnsmasq configuration directives such as dhcp-script, leading to arbitrary command execution as root.

Element Pack Addons for Elementor <= 8.3.15 - Unauthenticated SMTP Header Injection
The Element Pack Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Email Header Injection in all versions up to, and including, 8.3.15 via the `element_pack_contact_form` AJAX action. This is due to insufficient sanitization of newline characters in user-supplied input that gets concatenated into email headers. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary email headers into emails sent by the contact form.

rclone: FTP Command Arguments Permit CRLF Injection When Custom Encoding Preserves Newlines
rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers. Prior to 1.75.0, a valid but nondefault FTP filename encoding in backend/ftp/ftp.go can restore raw CR/LF immediately before an attacker-controlled path is interpolated into the line-oriented FTP control channel, and github.com/jlaffaye/ftp formats the argument through textproto.Conn.Cmd without rejecting CR or LF, allowing a filename such as victim CRLF DELE other-secret CRLF NOOP to inject an independent authenticated FTP command when the victim copies or syncs to a more-privileged FTP destination. This issue is fixed in 1.75.0.

boringproxy 0.10.0 SSH authorized_keys Injection via Tunnel Creation
boringproxy through 0.10.0 contains a newline injection vulnerability that allows authenticated low-privileged users with tunnel-creation permission to inject arbitrary lines into the server account's SSH authorized_keys file by supplying a percent-encoded newline character in the domain parameter of the tunnel creation endpoint. Attackers can insert an unrestricted public key entry into authorized_keys to gain persistent shell access, and subsequently read cleartext credentials from the database file including all user tokens, tunnel private keys, and TLS certificates.
CVE-2026-65636 Baixa · 2.1 CWE-93 31/07/2026
YAML injection via unescaped newlines in ymlr document comments
Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences vulnerability in ufirstgroup ymlr (Elixir.Ymlr module) allows attackers to inject arbitrary content into generated YAML documents through document comments. Ymlr.document!/2 interpolates each caller-supplied comment string into the output behind a single # prefix without validating it or escaping line breaks. Because a YAML comment is terminated by a line break, the first carriage return or line feed in the comment string ends the comment context and everything after it is emitted at column 0 of the document body. An attacker who controls text that the host application passes as a comment can forge top-level mapping keys, override values the application itself set, and emit --- or ... markers that split the output into additional documents. Downstream consumers of the generated YAML, such as configuration loaders, deployment manifests, CI pipelines and data importers, parse the injected content as legitimate data. The same clause backs Ymlr.document/2, Ymlr.documents!/2 and Ymlr.documents/2, so every document encoding entry point is affected. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/ymlr.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Ymlr':document!/2, 'Elixir.Ymlr':documents!/2. This issue affects ymlr from 0.0.1 before 5.1.6.

undici vulnerable to CRLF Injection via blob-like body 'type' property
undici does not validate the type property of a duck-typed blob-like request body before using it as the Content-Type header on the HTTP/1.1 dispatcher. In undici before 6.28.0, from 7.0.0 up to before 7.29.0, and from 8.0.0 up to before 8.9.0, an application that passes a hand-rolled blob-like body (via request, stream, pipeline, or dispatch) whose type is derived from untrusted input allows an attacker to inject CRLF sequences and append arbitrary HTTP headers, potentially smuggling a second request past the upstream. Native Blob objects are safe because their constructor strips CRLF from the type, and fetch is unaffected because it validates headers, but ecosystem libraries that build duck-typed blob shapes from user input can reach the vulnerable path. This is the same defect class as CVE-2022-35948 and CVE-2026-1527, on a header sink that the earlier fixes did not cover. The issue is fixed in undici 6.28.0, 7.29.0, and 8.9.0.

CVE-2026-59920 Média · 6.5 CWE-93 29/07/2026
Netty: STOMP CONNECT Frame Header Injection
Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. In versions prior to 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final, Netty's STOMP encoder ( StompSubframeEncoder ) does not escape or validate header values in  CONNECT  and  CONNECTED  frames, so raw newline ( \n ) characters in a header value are written directly to the wire, allowing an attacker who controls a header value to inject additional STOMP headers. This happens because the encoder intentionally skips escaping for CONNECT/CONNECTED frames per the STOMP 1.2 specification but never rejects the raw newlines, and since a broker parses each line as a separate header, an attacker controlling a value such as a user-supplied login or passcode can overwrite connection parameters or add authentication/role headers to bypass authentication or escalate privileges (the actual impact is broker-dependent). The issue is fixed in versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final.
CVE-2026-59919 Média · 5.5 CWE-93 29/07/2026
Netty: HAProxy V1 Protocol CRLF Injection via AF_UNIX Address
Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. In versions prior to 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final, Netty's HAProxy encoder ( HAProxyMessageEncoder ) writes AF_UNIX source and destination socket addresses into the HAProxy V1 text protocol without validating them for CRLF characters, so an attacker who controls an AF_UNIX address can inject  \r\n  sequences and split the single PROXY header into multiple lines. This is possible because the V1 protocol uses CRLF as its line terminator and, unlike IPv4/IPv6 addresses whose format checks implicitly reject CRLF, AF_UNIX addresses are only validated for length (up to 108 bytes), allowing a forged second PROXY header line that spoofs the client source/destination IP to a downstream server or load balancer. The issue is fixed in versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final.
CVE-2026-59921 Média · 6.5 CWE-93 28/07/2026
Netty: CRLF Injection via Multipart Filename in Netty HttpPostRequestEncoder
Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final, HttpPostRequestEncoder constructs multipart HTTP request bodies by directly concatenating user-supplied filenames and field names into Content-Disposition MIME headers without validating or sanitizing CRLF characters (\r\n). Since MIME headers are delimited by CRLF, an attacker who controls the filename can inject arbitrary MIME headers into the multipart body part. The root cause is that neither the encoder nor the FileUpload implementations' setFilename() methods, which only check for null, neutralize CRLF characters before the filename is embedded into the header. This issue has been fixed in versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final.

SuperPlane < 0.30.0 SMTP Header Injection via Webhook Event Title
SuperPlane before 0.30.0 contains an SMTP header injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary SMTP headers by including CRLF sequences in the event payload title field delivered via webhook. Attackers can manipulate the unsanitized title field passed to the SMTP DATA command to add Bcc recipients for content exfiltration, forge the From address to bypass SPF and DKIM checks, or inject Content-Type and MIME boundary headers to corrupt message bodies for phishing.

Sg3_utils: sg3_utils: arbitrary command execution via udev property injection in sg_inq --export
A flaw was found in sg3_utils. The sg_inq command, when invoked with the --export option, outputs device identification data without sanitizing control characters in SCSI name string fields. A newline character embedded in a device-supplied name string can inject arbitrary properties into the udev device database. This could allow an attacker who can present a crafted SCSI device to execute arbitrary commands as root when the device is disconnected.

Symfony: Email Header Injection via Non-Token Characters in Mime Parameter Names
Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, Symfony\Component\Mime\Header\ParameterizedHeader validates and encodes parameter values but emits parameter names verbatim, allowing a caller that derives a parameter name from untrusted input to include CRLF or other non-token bytes and inject additional headers into rendered structured mail headers such as Content-Type or Content-Disposition. This issue is reported as fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.

Symfony: Email Header / SMTP Command Injection via CRLF in Symfony\Component\Mime\Address
### Description `Symfony\Component\Mime\Address` is the value-object every Symfony Mailer address (to/cc/bcc/from/reply-to) flows through; its constructor is documented as validating the address and throwing on invalid input, so developers treat it as a security boundary. The constructor accepts email addresses whose local-part (the part before `@`) is an RFC-5322 *quoted string* containing raw `\r\n` bytes — e.g. `"x\r\nBcc: attacker@evil"@example.com`. The stored address is later emitted verbatim into (1) the rendered message headers and (2) `SmtpTransport`'s `MAIL FROM:<...>` / `RCPT TO:<...>` protocol lines, turning the embedded CRLF into a new mail header and/or a new SMTP command. ### Resolution The `Address` constructor now rejects addresses containing line breaks. The patch for this issue is available [here](https://github.com/symfony/symfony/commit/dc2dbd29211eb4ddc451373fa1374fb926e94604) for branch 5.4. ### Credits We would like to thank Claude Mythos Preview (via Project Glasswing) for reporting the issue and providing the fix.

Kirby: Request header injection in `Http\Remote`
Kirby is an open-source content management system. Prior to 4.9.4 and 5.4.4, Kirby sites and plugins using the Kirby Http Remote class, including Remote::request(), Remote::get(), and Remote::post(), to send outgoing HTTP requests with untrusted data in the headers option could allow newline characters in a header value to inject a separate unintended request header to the remote service. This issue is fixed in versions 4.9.4 and 5.4.4.
