CVE-2026-87114 Alta · 7.1 CWE-829 28/09/2026
Kube-compare: container:// reference extraction runs the image entrypoint and silently escalates to sudo
A flaw was found in kube-compare. When processing a 'container://' reference path, the tool incorrectly executes an untrusted container image's entrypoint instead of merely extracting data from a stopped container. This allows a remote attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution on the operator's workstation. If the Docker daemon requires elevated privileges, the untrusted code may execute with root-mediated daemon privileges, posing a significant security risk.
CVE-2026-92925 Alta · 7.1 CWE-125 17/09/2026
Redis: redis: out-of-bounds read via crafted cluster bus packets
A flaw was found in Redis community. The cluster bus packet parser, responsible for handling PING, PONG, and MEET packets, fails to properly validate string-carrying extensions for null-termination. This oversight allows a remote attacker to craft a malicious packet, leading to an out-of-bounds read when the packet's payload is processed. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could result in the disclosure of sensitive information or a remote denial of service (DoS).
CVE-2026-19391 Média · 6.5 CWE-312 11/08/2026
Insights-core: insights-core: incomplete credential redaction exposes sssd bind passwords and pacemaker fence credentials in uploaded archives
A flaw was found in insights-core where the password redaction layer fails to recognize credentials not keyed under the literal string 'password'. This allows SSSD LDAP bind passwords (ldap_default_authtok) and Pacemaker fence device credentials to be included in cleartext in archives uploaded to console.redhat.com.
CVE-2026-15584 Alta · 7.5 CWE-250 13/07/2026
Redhatinsights/incluster-checks: incluster-checks: privileged host-chroot debug pods created in shared default namespace enable privilege escalation to node root
A privilege escalation vulnerability was found in the incluster-checks tool for OpenShift. The tool creates privileged debug pods with host filesystem access in the shared default namespace, where any user with the standard edit role can exec into them and obtain root access on cluster nodes.
CVE-2026-13083 Média · 6.9 CWE-79 25/06/2026
Pen-drive: pen-drive: stored xss via unescaped cluster data in html report
A flaw was found in the Pen Drive report generator. Cluster-sourced data is rendered into HTML reports without proper escaping or sanitization. An attacker with cluster administrator privileges can inject a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) payload into cluster objects (such as ClusterVersion spec.channel) that executes in the browser of any user who opens the generated HTML report.
