CVE-2026-96840 Alta · 7.2 CWE-79 10/10/2026
Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks <= 5.1.0 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via display_name User Field
The Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks – PostX plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via display_name User Field in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. WordPress core's pre_user_display_name filter encodes &, <, and > but leaves double-quotes intact (ENT_NOQUOTES), allowing a Subscriber-level user to store a double-quote in their display_name via /wp-admin/profile.php that subsequently breaks out of the alt="" attribute at Archive_Title.php:144.
CVE-2026-5158 Média · 6.4 CWE-79 06/08/2026
PostX <= 5.0.13 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Post Comments Block
The Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks for News, Magazines, Blog Websites – PostX plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'inputPlaceHolder' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.13 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
CVE-2026-15100 Média · 6.4 CWE-79 24/07/2026
Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks <= 5.0.32 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'searchnoresult' Block Attribute
The Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks – PostX plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'searchnoresult' Block Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.32 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is particularly concerning in a cross-privilege scenario where a Contributor creates a pending or draft post containing the malicious block attribute, which then executes arbitrary JavaScript in the browser session of an Editor or Administrator who previews that post.
CVE-2026-13253 Média · 6.4 CWE-79 09/07/2026
Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks for News, Magazines, Blog Websites <= 5.0.31 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'moreResultsText' Block Attribute
The Ultimate Post plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'moreResultsText' block attribute of the ultimate-post/advanced-search block in versions up to and including 5.0.31. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the Advanced_Search::content() render callback: the attribute value is filtered with wp_kses(), which strips disallowed HTML tags but does NOT escape HTML special characters such as double quotes in plain text, and the result is then concatenated directly into the data-viewmoretext HTML attribute without esc_attr(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
