ClipBucket v5 has time-based Blind SQL Injection in ajax.php that leads to Data Exfiltration
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. An authenticated time-based blind SQL injection vulnerability exists in ClipBucket prior to 5.5.3 #80 within the `actions/ajax.php` endpoint. Due to insufficient input sanitization of the `userid` parameter, an authenticated attacker can execute arbitrary SQL queries, leading to full database disclosure and potential administrative account takeover. Version 5.5.3 #80 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-28354 Média · 6.5 CWE-639 27/02/2026
ClipBucket v5 has IDOR in Collection Item Management
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to version 5.5.3 #59, collection item operations are vulnerable to authorization flaws, allowing a normal authenticated user to modify another user’s collection items. This affects both add item (/actions/add_to_collection.php) due to missing authorization checks and delete item (/manage_collections.php?mode=manage_items...) due to a broken ownership check in removeItemFromCollection(). As a result, attackers can insert and remove items from collections they do not own. Version 5.5.3 #59 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-26997 Média · 5.4 CWE-79 27/02/2026
ClipBucket v5 has Stored XSS via Collection name
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to version 5.5.3 #59, a normal authenticated user can store the XSS payload. The payload is triggered by administrator. Version 5.5.3 #59 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-26005 Média · 5.0 CWE-918 12/02/2026
ClipBucket v5 enables internal network scans via an SSRF vulnerability
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to 5.5.3 - #45, in Clip Bucket V5, The Remote Play allows creating video entries that reference external video URLs without uploading the video files to the server. However, by specifying an internal network host in the video URL, an SSRF can be triggered, causing GET requests to be sent to internal servers. An attacker can exploit this to scan the internal network. Even a regular (non-privileged) user can carry out the attack.
CVE-2026-25728 Alta · 7.5 CWE-367 10/02/2026
ClipBucket v5 Affected by Remote Code Execution via Avatar/Background File Upload Race Condition
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to 5.5.3 - #40, a Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition vulnerability exists in ClipBucket's avatar and background image upload functionality. The application moves uploaded files to a web-accessible location before validating them, creating a window where an attacker can execute arbitrary PHP code before the file is deleted. The uploaded file was moved to a web-accessible path via move_uploaded_file(), then validated via ValidateImage(). If validation failed, the file was deleted via @unlink(). This vulnerability is fixed in 5.5.3 - #40.
CVE-2026-21875 Crítica · 9.8 Exploit público CWE-89 07/01/2026
ClipBucket v5 Vulnerable to Blind SQL Injection through Channel Comments
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Versions 5.5.2-#187 and below allow an attacker to perform Blind SQL Injection through the add comment section within a channel. When adding a comment within a channel, there is a POST request to the /actions/ajax.php endpoint. The obj_id parameter within the POST request to /actions/ajax.php is then used within the user_exists function of the upload/includes/classes/user.class. php file as the $id parameter. It is then used within the count function of the upload/includes/classes/db.class. php file. The $id parameter is concatenated into the query without validation or sanitization, and a user-supplied input like 1' or 1=1-- - can be used to trigger the injection. This issue does not have a fix at the time of publication.

CVE-2025-65113 Média · 6.5 CWE-770 28/11/2025
ClipBucket v5 Unauthenticated Object Flagging Vulnerability
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to version 5.5.2 - #164, an authorization bypass vulnerability in the AJAX flagging system allows any unauthenticated user to flag any content (users, videos, photos, collections) on the platform. This can lead to mass flagging attacks, content disruption, and moderation system abuse. This issue has been patched in version 5.5.2 - #164.
CVE-2025-62709 Alta · 8.8 CWE-640 20/11/2025
ClipBucket v5 is vulnerable to password reset link manipulation
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. In ClipBucket version 5.5.2, a change to network.class.php causes the application to dynamically build the server URL from the incoming HTTP Host header when the configuration base_url is not set. Because Host is a client-controlled header, an attacker can supply an arbitrary Host value. This allows an attacker to cause password-reset links (sent by forget.php) to be generated with the attacker’s domain. If a victim follows that link and enters their activation code on the attacker-controlled domain, the attacker can capture the code and use it to reset the victim’s password and take over the account. This issue has been patched in version 5.5.2#162.
CVE-2025-64339 Média · 5.4 CWE-79 07/11/2025
ClipBucket v5: Stored XSS Vulnerability in Manage Playlists
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. In versions 5.5.2-#146 and below, the Manage Playlists feature is vulnerable to stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS),specifically in the Playlist Name field. An authenticated low-privileged user can create a playlist with a malicious name containing HTML/JavaScript code, which is rendered unescaped on playlist detail and listing pages. This results in arbitrary JavaScript execution in every viewer’s browser, including administrators. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.2-#147.
CVE-2025-64338 Crítica · 9.0 CWE-79 07/11/2025
ClipBucket's Manage Photos Feature is Vulnerable to Stored XSS via Collection Name
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. In versions 5.5.2 - #156 and below, an authenticated regular user can create a photo collection whose Collection Name contains HTML/JavaScript payloads, which making ClipBucket’s Manage Photos feature vulnerable to Stored XSS. The payload is rendered unsafely in the Admin → Manage Photos interface, causing it to execute in the administrator’s browser, therefore allowing an attacker to target administrators and perform actions with elevated privileges. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.2 - #157.
CVE-2025-64336 Média · 5.4 CWE-79 07/11/2025
ClipBucket v5's Manage Photo Feature is Vulnerable to Stored XSS Attack via Photo Title
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. In versions 5.5.2-#146 and below, the Manage Photos feature is vulnerable to stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS). An authenticated regular user can upload a photo with a malicious Photo Title containing HTML/JavaScript code. While the payload does not execute in the user-facing photo gallery or detail pages, it is rendered unsafely in the Admin → Manage Photos section, resulting in JavaScript execution in the administrator’s browser. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.2-#147.
CVE-2025-64114 Média · 6.5 CWE-89 05/11/2025

ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Versions 5.5.2 - #151 and below allow authenticated administrators with plugin management privileges to execute arbitrary SQL commands against the database through its ClipBucket Custom Fields plugin. The vulnerabilities require the Custom Fields plugin to be installed and accessible, and can only be exploited by users with administrative access to the plugin interface. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.2 - #.
CVE-2025-62715 Média · 5.4 CWE-79 04/11/2025
ClipBucket v5: Stored XSS via Collection Tags
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Versions 5.5.2-#147 and below contain a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in ClipBucket’s Collection tags feature. An authenticated normal user can create a tag containing HTML or JavaScript, which is later rendered unescaped in collection detail and tag-list pages. As a result, arbitrary JavaScript executes in the browsers of all users who view the affected pages. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.2-#152.
CVE-2025-62429 Alta · 7.2 CWE-94 20/10/2025
ClipBucket v5 executes arbitrary PHP code
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to version 5.5.2 #147, ClipBucket v5 is vulnerable to arbitrary PHP code execution. In /upload/admin_area/actions/update_launch.php, the "type" parameter from a POST request is embedded into PHP tags and executed. Proper sanitization is not performed, and by injecting malicious code an attacker can execute arbitrary PHP code. This allows an attacker to achieve RCE. This issue has been resolved in version 5.5.2 #147.
CVE-2025-62430 Média · 5.4 CWE-79 17/10/2025
ClipBucket v5 stored XSS via video/photo fields
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. ClipBucket v5 through build 5.5.2 #145 allows stored cross-site scripting (XSS) in multiple video and photo metadata fields. For videos the Tags field and the Genre, Actors, Producer, Executive Producer, and Director fields in Movieinfos accept user supplied values without adequate sanitization. For photos the Photo Title and Photo Tags fields accept user supplied values without adequate sanitization. A regular user who can edit a video or photo can inject script (for example by supplying a value such as a closing delimiter followed by a script element). The injected script executes when any user, including an unauthenticated visitor or an administrator, views the affected video or photo page. Although cookies are set with the HttpOnly attribute and cannot be read directly, the injected script can issue fetch requests to endpoints such as admin_area pages and exfiltrate their contents or trigger unintended actions. Version 5.5.2 build #146 and later contain a fix. Update to build 5.5.2 #146 or later. No known workarounds exist.
CVE-2025-62424 Média · 6.5 CWE-22 17/10/2025
ClipBucket path traversal vulnerability in template editor allows arbitrary file read and write
ClipBucket is a web-based video-sharing platform. In ClipBucket version 5.5.2 - #146 and earlier, the /admin_area/template_editor.php endpoint is vulnerable to path traversal. The validation of the file-loading path is inadequate, allowing authenticated administrators to read and write arbitrary files outside the intended template directory by inserting path traversal sequences into the folder parameter. An attacker with administrator privileges can exploit this vulnerability to read sensitive files such as /etc/passwd and modify writable files on the system, potentially leading to sensitive information disclosure and compromise of the application or server. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.2 - #147.
CVE-2025-62423 Alta · 7.2 CWE-89 16/10/2025
