CVE-2026-53310 — soc/tegra: cbb: Fix cross-fabric target timeout lookup
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc/tegra: cbb: Fix cross-fabric target timeout lookup When a fabric receives an error interrupt, the error may have occurred on a different fabric. The target timeout lookup was using the wrong base address (cbb->regs) with offsets from a different fabric's target map, causing a kernel page fault. Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ffff80000954cc00 pc : tegra234_cbb_get_tmo_slv+0xc/0x28 Call trace: tegra234_cbb_get_tmo_slv+0xc/0x28 print_err_notifier+0x6c0/0x7d0 tegra234_cbb_isr+0xe4/0x1b4 Add tegra234_cbb_get_fabric() to look up the correct fabric device using fab_id, and use its base address for accessing target timeout registers.
Who exploits it and how urgent it is
A 0–100 score combining confirmed exploitation, ransomware and APT use, public exploits, EPSS and severity.
How the score was calculated
- EPSS 0.2% (30-day exploitation probability)+1
- Technical severity (medium)+3
The score orders the patch queue; it does not replace your asset context (internet exposure, criticality, compensating controls).
Triage
Is it exploited, how likely is exploitation, what does it touch, and how severe do the sources call it.

Ordered from the record’s own fields — exposure first, because you cannot patch what you have not found. A rule-generated starting point.
- Identify exposed assets running the affected vendor/product/version combinations (Linux Linux, Linux Linux Kernel).
- Apply the fixed version or the patch documented under Remediation.
- Search available logs for exploit probes, errors and authentication anomalies.

What should defenders know first?
CVE-2026-53310 is "soc/tegra: cbb: Fix cross-fabric target timeout lookup", rated Medium. It affects Linux (Linux); versions are in the scope table. It is not in CISA KEV, which does not rule out exploitation. CVSS 5.5 describes technical severity. EPSS 0.16% estimates the probability of exploitation in 30 days; neither replaces your asset context. First verify whether exposed or business-critical assets run the affected versions, apply vendor fixes or mitigations, and preserve logs for review.
