Multiple Unauthenticated Denial-of-Service Conditions
TBEA TLogger V2.1.0.0B0.0.0.0 contains multiple unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerabilities in its web server. An unauthenticated remote attacker can invoke specific HTTP endpoints to reboot or reset the device, clear application data, or terminate the web server through a segmentation fault. In addition, multiple action endpoints process attacker-controlled parameters using unsafe string operations such as sprintf() and strcat() without adequate bounds checking, allowing crafted input to trigger buffer overflows and crash the web server. The affected endpoints include onRestart, onReset, ClearData, uploadInvFile, getIndiaRPData, YearCaparity, TotalfaultData, recordData, InvHistoryData, CollectHistoryData, InvFaultData, GetPortTableByParm, and UpdatePortConfig.
CVE-2026-6791 Medium · 6.6 CWE-121 Aug 10, 2026
Potential stack-based buffer clash during tilde expansion in wordexp
When expanding paths that begin with a tilde (~) followed by a username, the internal parse_tilde function extracts the username to determine the user's home directory. The implementation allocates memory for this username directly on the stack using the strndupa macro. Because the size of this allocation was determined by the length of the user-supplied input without any bounds checks, passing an excessively long username e.g. thousands of characters, forces the thread to exhaust its stack space. Thus if an application passes untrusted, attacker-controlled input to the wordexp function, an attacker can trigger a stack clash.

libceph: bound pg_{temp,upmap,upmap_items} length to CEPH_PG_MAX_SIZE
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: bound pg_{temp,upmap,upmap_items} length to CEPH_PG_MAX_SIZE __decode_pg_temp() decodes an user-controlled length but only rejects values large enough to overflow the allocation; it does not bound it to CEPH_PG_MAX_SIZE. The helper backs both pg_temp and pg_upmap decoding, and apply_upmap()/get_temp_osds() later copy the decoded list into the fixed-size on-stack array struct ceph_osds.osds[CEPH_PG_MAX_SIZE]. A monitor that sends an OSDMap with a pg_temp/pg_upmap entry longer than 32 thus causes a stack out-of-bounds write. An OSD set for a single PG can never exceed CEPH_PG_MAX_SIZE, so reject longer entries at decode time. The bound is well below the old overflow threshold, so it also covers the allocation-size overflow the previous check guarded against. ClamAV GPT File Format Processing Memory Corruption Vulnerability
A vulnerability in the GPT file format parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition or possibly other expanded impacts as a result of memory corruption on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper handling of an endian conversion operation, which may result in an out-of-bounds buffer write. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted GPT file to be scanned by ClamAV on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software.

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in ELAN Microelectronics Corp. ELAN Smart-Pad on Windows (ETD.sys and ETDSMBus.sys). During Intel SMBus recovery, ETDSMBus.sys does not enforce an upper-bound check on the hardware-derived report count, allowing an out-of-range value to be forwarded to ETD.sys where it is used as a loop counter for a stack buffer copy without destination size validation. A local attacker with standard user privileges can trigger a kernel bugcheck (BSOD 0xF7 DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER), resulting in denial of service. This issue affects ELAN Smart-Pad through ETD24.21.52.3.

CVE-2026-45809 High · 8.7 CWE-121 Aug 4, 2026
OpenSIPS: Denial of Service in watcherinfo XML generation from oversized watcher URI
OpenSIPS is a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) server implementation. Versions prior to 3.6.6 and 4.0.0-rc1 contain a denial of service vulnerability in the watcherinfo generation functionality. An attacker can create an oversized watcher entry by sending a SUBSCRIBE Event: presence request with a long From URI, and then trigger presence.winfo watcherinfo XML generation for the same presentity. OpenSIPS copies the stored watcher URI into a fixed-size stack buffer, overflowing it and crashing the process. A remote attacker can crash an OpenSIPS worker in deployments that expose handle_subscribe() and allow watcherinfo (presence.winfo) generation. The issue is configuration-dependent because the presence and presence_xml modules must be loaded and SUBSCRIBE routing must be reachable. This issue has been fixed in versions 3.6.6 and 4.0.0-rc1.
CVE-2026-45538 Critical · 9.8 CWE-121 Aug 4, 2026
OpenSIPS: Stack Buffer Overflow in sip_to_json() Header Name Copy
OpenSIPS is a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) server implementation. In versions 4.0.0 and prior, processing a SIP message with a header name longer than 255 bytes causes a stack buffer overflow when sip_to_json() is called in the routing script. Function sip_to_json() (modules/sipmsgops/sipmsgops.c) copies SIP header names into a fixed 255-byte stack buffer without bounds checking, performing a memcpy of the full header-name length even though the SIP parser imposes no such limit (a header name can be roughly 65000 bytes). As a result, when a routing script calls sip_to_json(), a SIP message with a header name longer than 255 bytes triggers a stack buffer overflow in which both the length and content of the overwrite are attacker-controlled, corrupting the saved frame pointer and return address. A single unauthenticated UDP packet to the SIP port (5060) can crash the process or, on builds without stack protections, hijack the return address to achieve remote code execution. This affects deployments whose routing script invokes sip_to_json(). This issue was not fixed at the time of publication.
