CWE-285 Sep 26, 2026
Contrast before 1.4.1 Coordinator Impersonation via Unauthenticated Recovery
Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions before 1.4.1, a recovering Coordinator does not verify the seed supplied by the recovering party. An attacker can therefore stand up a rogue Coordinator whose manifest passes validation but whose secret seed is attacker-controlled. If network traffic is redirected from the legitimate Coordinator to the attacker's Coordinator, a workload owner can be impersonated when they either set a new manifest without comparing the returned root CA certificate against the existing one (the default behavior of the contrast CLI) or verify the Coordinator without comparing the root CA certificate against a trusted reference. Under these conditions the attacker can issue certificates that chain back to the rogue Coordinator's root CA and recover arbitrary workload secrets of workloads deployed after the attack. Secrets of the legitimate Coordinator (seed, workload secrets, CA), workload integrity, and certificates chaining to the mesh CA are not affected.

CWE-285 Sep 25, 2026
RabbitMQ: AMQP 1.0 management `GET /bindings` exposes full binding topology to any authenticated AMQP user without resource/management permission checks
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.3, 4.2.9, 4.1.14, and 4.0.23, AMQP 1.0 management GET /bindings exposes full binding topology to any authenticated AMQP user without resource/management permission checks. the AMQP 1.0 HTTP-over-AMQP management endpoint GET /bindings (the rabbitamqpmanagement handler) enumerates bindings between an arbitrary source exchange and destination queue/exchange in the caller's virtual host without performing any resource-level permission check. Unlike every sibling operation in the same module (which call checkresourceaccess / bindingchecks), the GET handler ignores the authenticated User and returns the binding list unchanged. As a result, any authenticated AMQP 1.0 client that can open a management link pair , including users with no management/monitoring/policymaker/administrator tag , can enumerate the complete binding topology (source exchanges, destination queues/exchanges, routing keys, and binding arguments) of the virtual host they can access. The equivalent HTTP management API (GET /api/bindings) Confidentiality impact: a non-management AMQP 1.0 user can enumerate the complete routing topology of any virtual host it can connect to , every (source exchange, destination queue/exchange, routing key, binding arguments) This issue is fixed in versions 4.3.3, 4.2.9, 4.1.14, and 4.0.23.

CWE-285 Sep 25, 2026
Keycloak-services: keycloak-services: fgap v2 composite-blind role mapping allows privilege escalation
A flaw was found in the Fine-Grained Admin Permissions (FGAP v2) feature of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when the system checks if a delegated administrator has permission to assign a specific role to a user. Because the check does not look inside composite roles to see what other permissions they contain, an administrator with limited rights can assign a role that secretly includes full administrative control. This allows the attacker to gain complete management access over the entire realm.

Online Scheduling and Appointment Booking System <= 28.2 - Unauthenticated Authorization Bypass via PHP Type Juggling via 'verification_code' Parameter Type Juggling via json_data
The Online Scheduling and Appointment Booking System – Bookly plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authorization Bypass via PHP Type Juggling in all versions up to, and including, 28.2. This is due to the `postValidateCustomer()` function using a loose PHP inequality operator (`!=`) to compare the session-stored one-time verification code against the attacker-supplied `verification_code` parameter — a flaw that is further exposed by the booking AJAX controller registering all its methods as `wp_ajax_nopriv_` handlers and unconditionally overriding `csrfTokenValid()` to return true, leaving the endpoint both unauthenticated and CSRF-unprotected. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass the phone/email ownership verification step and overwrite the name, email, phone, and address fields of any arbitrary existing Bookly customer record, redirecting that customer's booking notifications to attacker-controlled contact details. The bypass is achievable because the `json_data` input channel decodes input via `json_decode()`, which preserves real PHP types and causes the `wp_kses` filter to leave non-string values such as the JSON boolean `true` untouched; submitting `true` as the `verification_code` satisfies the loose comparison against the session's non-zero integer code (generated by `mt_rand(100000, 999999)`), causing `true != <non-zero int>` to evaluate as `false` and the guard to be bypassed.

CVE-2026-61604
Critical · 9.3
CWE-285 Sep 24, 2026
ixo Blockchain x/bonds DID-resolved payer drain + x/entity ICA authorization bypass
The ixo Blockchain is a Layer 1 blockchain that runs on both Testnet and Mainnet. Prior to version 8.0.0, the x/bonds module moved funds from an address that was resolved from a DID verification method, without verifying that the resolved address belonged to the transaction signer. Affected handlers included MsgMakeOutcomePayment, MsgBuy, MsgSell, MsgSwap, and MsgWithdrawShare, as well as the batch order processor. Because any account may list an arbitrary blockchainAccountID as a verification method on a DID it controls (without the consent of that address's owner), an attacker could register victims' addresses as verification methods on their own DID and then move the victims' balances into a bond the attacker controlled — later withdrawing and bridging the proceeds off-chain. This was exploited on ixo mainnet (ixo-5) on 2026-06-20. The attack required no victim keys, signatures, or system compromise — any account holding a balance in a token a bond could use was at risk. This was fixed in v8.0.0, delivered via the on-chain v8 software-upgrade. The x/bonds module is disabled: every bonds message is rejected on all routes (top-level, authz, CosmWasm, and ICA), and the bonds batch EndBlocker is a no-op so no further reserve movements can occur. All node operators and validators must upgrade to v8.0.0. The flaw is in chain state-machine logic and can only be remediated by running the patched binary. There is no application-level workaround. The vulnerability is in consensus logic; remediation requires the network to run the patched (v8.0.0) binary. The bonds module remains disabled in v8.0.0 and will only be re-enabled in a future release once the signer-authorization model has been corrected.

CWE-285 Sep 22, 2026
Nautobot: Authorization bypass in approval workflow REST API allows self-approval and unauthorized activation of scheduled jobs
Nautobot is a Network Source of Truth and Network Automation Platform. From 3.0.0 until 3.1.8, the generic ApprovalWorkflowStageResponse create endpoint does not enforce approver-group membership, change permission on the object under review, or the one-response-per-user restriction applied by the intended approve and deny actions. A user with only extras.add_approvalworkflowstageresponse can submit approved responses directly, while writable user and state fields permit responses to be attributed to arbitrary users. These forged responses can satisfy min_approvers, approve the workflow, and activate its gated ScheduledJob without a legitimate approver. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.8.
CVE-2026-95805
Medium · 5.3
CWE-285 Sep 22, 2026
MISP ACLComponent: Typo in previewEventAttributes ACL key bypasses intended access restriction
A typo in the MISP ACLComponent access control configuration caused the ACL rule for the previewEventAttributes action to reference the permission string 'theming_enabled*' (with a trailing asterisk) instead of the correct 'theming_enabled'. In the MISP ACL system, the array values define which role or permission grants access to a given controller action. The adjacent entry previewEventObjects correctly uses ['theming_enabled'], confirming the intended restriction. The malformed key 'theming_enabled*' does not match any valid permission identifier, causing the access control check for previewEventAttributes to malfunction. Depending on the ACL evaluation logic, this could result in either unauthorized users gaining access to the previewEventAttributes endpoint (authorization bypass) or legitimate users being denied access (availability impact).
The previewEventAttributes endpoint exposes event attribute data within MISP so an authorization bypass could expose sensitive indicator and attribute data to users who should not have access.

Medium · 6.9
CWE-285 Sep 22, 2026
MISP: Disabled-user check ineffective in pre-authentication TOTP login branch
In MISP's UsersController login() method, the pre-authentication database query used for the TOTP (two-factor authentication) verification branch did not include the User.disabled column in its SELECT fields list. The query selected only User.password, User.totp, and User.hotp_counter. When the TOTP branch subsequently accessed $unauth_user['User']['disabled'], the key was absent from the result set, producing a PHP 'Undefined array key' warning and causing the expression to evaluate as null (falsy). As a result, the disabled-user guard in the TOTP branch was effectively a no-op: a disabled, TOTP-enrolled user could proceed to the TOTP verification step rather than being rejected at that point.
The commit message explicitly states this was 'harmless in practice' because the subsequent identify() call re-validates the user and would still reject a disabled account.
The practical security impact is therefore minimal, limited to a very small information-disclosure difference in the login response (a TOTP prompt is presented instead of an immediate rejection) and a PHP warning in application logs.
CVE-2026-95671
Medium · 5.3
CWE-285 Sep 22, 2026
MISP Collections: Missing Authorization Check for Sharing Group on PUT Request in collections/add
In MISP, the CollectionsController add() method enforced the sharing-group usability authorization check and element capture only when the HTTP request method was POST. However, the underlying CRUDComponent::add() method persists data on both POST and PUT requests. As a result, an authenticated user could issue a PUT request to the collections/add endpoint, bypassing the sharing-group authorization check entirely. This allowed the creation of a collection with distribution=4 (shared with a specific sharing group) targeting a sharing group that the user was not authorized to use. The bypassed check would normally verify that the current user has access to the specified sharing group before allowing the collection to be associated with it.
The security impact is that an authenticated user can place collection data into a sharing group context they do not have legitimate access to, potentially exposing that data to all members of the unauthorized sharing group and violating the intended access-control boundaries of the MISP instance.
The vulnerability requires an authenticated session and knowledge of a valid sharing group identifier; no user interaction or special tooling is needed beyond sending a PUT request instead of a POST request to the same endpoint.

CWE-285 Sep 21, 2026
MaxKB: Chat share-link endpoint missing owner check: a chat token can publish another user's conversation
MaxKB is an open-source AI assistant for enterprise. In 2.7.0 through 2.10.4-lts, POST /chat/api/{application_id}/chat/{chat_id}/share_chat verifies that a conversation exists but does not verify that it belongs to the authenticated chat_user_id or to the application bound to the caller's token. An attacker with any chat token and a known victim chat_id can create an unauthenticated public ChatShareLink exposing the victim's conversation and can create PublicFileAccess state that makes associated files retrievable without credentials, with no available revoke path. No fixed version is available as of this review.

Warpgate: Missing Admin Authorization on Live Recording Stream WebSocket Allows Any Authenticated User to Eavesdrop on Terminal Sessions
Warpgate is an open source SSH, HTTPS and MySQL bastion host for Linux. Prior to 0.25.6, api_get_recording_stream in warpgate-admin/src/api/recordings_detail.rs protects /@warpgate/admin/api/recordings/{uuid}/stream only with session authentication and omits require_admin_permission for AdminPermission::RecordingsView. Any authenticated regular user who identifies an active recording can subscribe to its WebSocket and receive real-time terminal input and output from proxied SSH, MySQL, or PostgreSQL sessions, including credentials, commands, and other sensitive data belonging to users and administrators. This issue is fixed in version 0.25.6.
