CWE-312 Aug 19, 2026
Information Disclosure through Action Parameters in Cisco Secure Malware Analytics app for Splunk SOAR
In versions below 2.4.5 of the Cisco Secure Malware Analytics app for Splunk SOAR, a user who holds a role with permission to run actions could expose a sensitive sample password by invoking the detonate file action, because the action's sample_password parameter is not masked and is shown in cleartext in the user interface. The information disclosure is possible because the app does not mark the affected action parameter as a password. For more information see Run an action in Splunk SOAR (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/use-splunk-soar-on-premises/8.6.0/use-the-command-line-interface-to-perform-tasks-in-splunk-soar-on-premises/run-an-action-in-splunk-soar-on-premises).

Information Disclosure through Action Parameters in Azure AD Graph app for Splunk SOAR
In versions below 2.5.3 of the Azure AD Graph app for Splunk SOAR, a user who holds a role with permission to run actions could expose a sensitive password by invoking the reset password action, because the action's temp_password parameter is not masked and is shown in cleartext in the user interface.

Information Disclosure through Action Parameters in AWS IAM app for Splunk SOAR
In versions below 2.1.9 of the AWS IAM app for Splunk SOAR, a user who holds a role with permission to run actions could expose sensitive AWS credentials by invoking an action that accepts the credentials parameter, because the parameter is not masked and is shown in cleartext in the user interface.

Must-gather: must-gather: embedded secret data in acm wrapper crs collected without redaction
A flaw was found in the must-gather component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. Certain ACM wrapper Custom Resources that embed Secret data are collected without redaction. When an administrator runs must-gather, credentials and tokens are captured in cleartext in the resulting archive, potentially exposing sensitive information to anyone with access to the archive.

CVE-2026-68970
Medium · 6.5
CWE-312 Aug 12, 2026
Apache Airflow: Values of a list-shaped Variable are not masked in task logs and the Rendered Templates UI
Apache Airflow's Task SDK did not mask the contents of a Variable whose JSON value is a list, so secrets stored in that shape appeared in cleartext in task logs and in the Rendered Templates UI. Masking was applied only when the deserialized value was a string or a dict; a list at the top level matched neither and was returned unmasked. Any authenticated user able to read the logs or rendered templates of a task that references such a Variable could recover the values, with no special configuration required. This is the list-shaped counterpart of CVE-2026-59244, whose fix covered the dict case only, so deployments that upgraded in response to that advisory remain affected and must upgrade again. Users are advised to upgrade to apache-airflow 3.3.1 or later.

Rendered Artifactory Helm manifests may contain generated TLS private keys

CVE-2026-59244
Medium · 6.5
CWE-312 Aug 12, 2026
Apache Airflow: Secrets masker: `var.json` Variable values not masked in the Rendered Templates UI
Apache Airflow's secrets masker did not mask `var.json` Variable values whose value is a dict in the Rendered Templates UI — the dict value failed an `isinstance(str)` guard — so a secret stored as a JSON Variable and referenced in a template via `var.json` was displayed in cleartext to any user with access to that task's Rendered Templates view. Users are advised to upgrade to apache-airflow 3.3.1 or later, which masks nested Variable values regardless of type.

CVE-2026-47702
Critical · 9.1
CWE-312 Aug 11, 2026
TypeBot API tokens stored in plaintext
TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. In version 3.16.1, API tokens (bearer credentials used to authenticate against the builder API) are stored in the database as cleartext strings. An attacker who gains read access to the database (e.g., via SQL injection, backup exposure, or insider access) can extract all API tokens and impersonate any user without requiring a password or multi-factor authentication. Version 3.17.0 fixes the issue.

Insights-core: insights-core: incomplete credential redaction exposes sssd bind passwords and pacemaker fence credentials in uploaded archives
A flaw was found in insights-core where the password redaction layer fails to recognize credentials not keyed under the literal string 'password'. This allows SSSD LDAP bind passwords (ldap_default_authtok) and Pacemaker fence device credentials to be included in cleartext in archives uploaded to console.redhat.com.

Long-lived Rancher registration token exposed in plaintext
Rancher issues long-lived registration tokens to authenticate nodes and agents joining a downstream cluster. These tokens were stored and exposed in plaintext with no expiration, so a malicious user could obtain one either through the Rancher API, etcd, stored automation, or direct file access on a node, and could use it at any time to register a rogue node into the cluster.

CWE-312 Jul 30, 2026
Cleartext Storage of Spring Boot DevTools Remote Secret in Eclipse Launch Configurations
Spring Tools for Eclipse stores the Spring Boot DevTools remote secret (spring.devtools.remote.secret) as a plain string attribute on the "Spring Boot DevTools Client" launch configuration. Eclipse persists launch configuration attributes as cleartext XML, either to workspace metadata or, if the user marks the configuration as a shared file, directly into the project tree where it can be committed to version control. This secret is the sole credential protecting the DevTools remote restart/reload endpoint, which accepts and executes arbitrary class bytes on the target application. Anyone able to read the .launch file (via filesystem access, a workspace backup, or a shared VCS repository) can extract the secret and use it to achieve remote code execution against the associated Spring Boot application.
Affected Spring Products and Versions:
Spring Tools for Eclipse: 5.2.0 and earlier

CWE-312 Jul 22, 2026
n8n before 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1 Credential Exposure via JWT Header
n8n versions before 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1 contain a credential exposure vulnerability: when configured with a Google Service Account key, the full PEM private key was mistakenly placed in the JWT header's kid field (intended only for a key identifier). Because JWT headers are Base64-encoded rather than encrypted, the private key could be recovered by anything that logged or inspected the JWT. An attacker who obtained the key could impersonate the service account and access or modify any Google Cloud resource it was authorized to use. Only instances using Google Service Account credentials are affected.
