CVE-2019-9674 High · 7.5 CWE-400 Feb 4, 2020
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption in Python
Lib/zipfile.py in Python through 3.7.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource consumption) via a ZIP bomb.
CVE-2020-8492 Medium · 6.5 CWE-400 Jan 30, 2020
Python 2.7 through 2.7.17, 3.5 through 3.5.9, 3.6 through 3.6.10, 3.7 through 3.7.6, and 3.8...
Python 2.7 through 2.7.17, 3.5 through 3.5.9, 3.6 through 3.6.10, 3.7 through 3.7.6, and 3.8 through 3.8.1 allows an HTTP server to conduct Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) attacks against a client because of urllib.request.AbstractBasicAuthHandler catastrophic backtracking.
CVE-2018-12122 High · 7.5 CWE-400 Nov 28, 2018
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption in Nodejs Node.js
Node.js: All versions prior to Node.js 6.15.0, 8.14.0, 10.14.0 and 11.3.0: Slowloris HTTP Denial of Service: An attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending headers very slowly keeping HTTP or HTTPS connections and associated resources alive for a long period of time.
CVE-2018-12121 High · 7.5 CWE-400 Nov 28, 2018
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption in Nodejs Node.js
Node.js: All versions prior to Node.js 6.15.0, 8.14.0, 10.14.0 and 11.3.0: Denial of Service with large HTTP headers: By using a combination of many requests with maximum sized headers (almost 80 KB per connection), and carefully timed completion of the headers, it is possible to cause the HTTP server to abort from heap allocation failure. Attack potential is mitigated by the use of a load balancer or other proxy layer.
CVE-2018-7164 High · 7.5 CWE-400 Jun 13, 2018
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption in Nodejs Node.js
Node.js versions 9.7.0 and later and 10.x are vulnerable and the severity is MEDIUM. A bug introduced in 9.7.0 increases the memory consumed when reading from the network into JavaScript using the net.Socket object directly as a stream. An attacker could use this cause a denial of service by sending tiny chunks of data in short succession. This vulnerability was restored by reverting to the prior behaviour.
CVE-2017-16137 Medium · 5.3 CWE-400 Jun 6, 2018
Regular Expression Denial of Service in debug
The debug module is vulnerable to regular expression denial of service when untrusted user input is passed into the o formatter. It takes around 50k characters to block for 2 seconds making this a low severity issue.
CVE-2017-16138 High · 7.5 CWE-400 Jun 6, 2018
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption in Mime Project Mime
The mime module < 1.4.1, 2.0.1, 2.0.2 is vulnerable to regular expression denial of service when a mime lookup is performed on untrusted user input.
CVE-2017-16119 High · 7.5 CWE-400 Jun 6, 2018
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption in Fresh Project Fresh
Fresh is a module used by the Express.js framework for HTTP response freshness testing. It is vulnerable to a regular expression denial of service when it is passed specially crafted input to parse. This causes the event loop to be blocked causing a denial of service condition.
CVE-2004-1464 Medium · 5.9 KEV High · 52 CWE-400 Dec 31, 2004
Cisco IOS Denial-of-Service Vulnerability
Cisco IOS 12.2(15) and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (refused VTY (virtual terminal) connections), via a crafted TCP connection to the Telnet or reverse Telnet port.
