Null pointer dereference in Active Directory Domain Services allows an authorized attacker to deny service over a network.

A security issue exists in MongoDB's 2dsphere index key generation that can cause a server crash due to a null pointer dereference. When a specially crafted GeoJSON document is inserted into a collection with a 2dsphere index, an inconsistency in geometry parsing can leave an internal object in an invalid, partially initialized state. During subsequent index key generation, access to this improperly initialized object results in a null pointer dereference that terminates the mongod process. An authenticated user with write access can use this to cause a denial of service.

PX4 Autopilot through 1.17.0 contains a null pointer dereference vulnerability in param_set_default_file() and param_set_backup_file() functions that allows attackers to crash the autopilot process. Attackers can invoke 'param select' or 'param select-backup' commands with no path argument from any PX4 shell to trigger the crash.

A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in TL-WR841N v14 in the UPnP service when processing SOAP state variable query requests. A specially crafted SOAP query may trigger unexpected termination or instability of the process hosting the UPnP service. Successful exploitation may result in a denial-of-service condition affecting UPnP discovery, state query, or related management functionality until the affected process is restarted or the device is rebooted.

A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in TL-WR841N v14 in the UPnP service when processing SOAP action requests. A specially crafted SOAP action request containing unexpected XML content may cause the UPnP daemon to terminate unexpectedly. Successful exploitation may result in a denial-of-service condition affecting UPnP functionality until the service is restarted or the device is rebooted.

PLANET GS-4210-16P2S V3 firmware before 3.441b260626 contains an authenticated null pointer dereference vulnerability in /cgi-bin/dispatcher.cgi. The web_poe_alive_rmtip_post handler dereferences the rmtIP parameter without verifying its presence. A remote authenticated attacker can send a crafted request omitting the rmtIP parameter to cause the CGI process to dereference a null pointer and crash, resulting in denial of service of the web management interface.

Wazuh is an open-source security platform providing unified XDR and SIEM protection for endpoints and cloud workloads. In versions 4.0.0 through 4.14.6, a malicious or man-in-the-middle enrollment manager can crash a Wazuh agent during enrollment by returning a malformed key response with fewer than four fields, causing a NULL pointer dereference. The  w_enrollment_process_agent_key()  routine splits the manager-provided key into four space-separated fields but does not verify that all fields are present before passing them to validators. Because OS_StrBreak() leaves missing trailing entries as NULL and OS_IsValidName() calls strlen() on its argument without a NULL check, a response such as  OSSEC K:'1'  reaches OS_IsValidName(NULL) and terminates the agent process. Since Wazuh permits enrollment against an unverified manager when no CA certificate is configured, an attacker operating a rogue manager or intercepting the enrollment flow can deterministically crash agents, resulting in denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.7.
