CVE-2026-45407
Medium · 5.5
CWE-522 Jun 26, 2026
Dokku: Git Credentials in .netrc Stored World-Readable Due to Premature touch
Dokku is a docker-powered PaaS. Prior to 0.38.2, the git:auth command creates $DOKKU_ROOT/.netrc using bash's touch command, which applies the default umask of 0644. This pre-creation defeats the netrc binary's built-in 0600 permission setting, leaving git credentials readable by any local user who can traverse the dokku home directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.38.2.

OpenBullet2 0.3.2 NTLMv2 Hash Disclosure via UNC Path Proxy Source
OpenBullet2 through version 0.3.2 on Windows contains a credential disclosure vulnerability that allows remote attackers to capture the NTLMv2 hash of the process user by configuring a job proxy source with a UNC path pointing to an attacker-controlled server. When the job starts, the application attempts to load proxies from the UNC path, triggering an SMB authentication attempt that discloses the NTLMv2 hash, which can then be relayed or cracked offline.

CWE-522 May 13, 2026
proxy credentials leak over redirect-to proxy
curl might erroneously pass on credentials for a first proxy to a second
proxy.
This can happen when the following conditions are true:
1. curl is setup to use specific different proxies for different URL schemes
2. the first proxy needs credentials
3. the second proxy uses no credentials
4. while using the first proxy (using say `http://`), curl is asked to follow
a redirect to a URL using another scheme (say `https://`), accessed using a
second, different, proxy
CVE-2026-8368

CWE-522 May 12, 2026
LWP::UserAgent versions before 6.83 for Perl leak Authorization and Proxy-Authorization headers on cross-origin redirects
LWP::UserAgent versions before 6.83 for Perl leak Authorization and Proxy-Authorization headers on cross-origin redirects.
On a 3xx response, the redirect handler strips only Host and Cookie before issuing the follow-up request. Caller-supplied Authorization and Proxy-Authorization headers are sent unchanged to the redirect target, including across scheme, host, or port changes.
A redirect to an attacker controlled host therefore discloses the caller's credentials to that host.
