Insufficient HTML sanitization in the Publisher Portal and Developer Portal allows untrusted user input to be rendered without proper encoding or neutralization. This enables the injection and execution of malicious JavaScript when affected API documents are viewed. Successful exploitation may result in the execution of malicious scripts within the user's browser context when viewing API documentation. Users with permissions to access the API documentation through these portals may be impacted, potentially allowing attackers to perform actions on behalf of the user, depending on their session privileges.

TripleLift's ad rendering script (video-bundle.js) contains a DOM-based cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in a publisher's domain by sending crafted postMessage payloads without origin validation. Attackers can cause a victim to visit an attacker-controlled page that sends malicious postMessage events to a publisher page running the ad script, enabling session hijacking and unauthorized DOM manipulation.

Affected versions of MISP serve uploaded SVG images inline without a restrictive browser sandbox. The commit explains that SVG files are XML documents rather than passive bitmap images. While scripts inside SVG do not execute when the SVG is rendered through a normal <img>, they can execute when the SVG is navigated to directly or embedded as a document. In that case, malicious <script> elements, event handlers, or javascript: URLs execute on the MISP origin with the viewer’s session. The affected use cases include:  - organisation SVG logos;  - event-report SVG pictures. Importantly, the vulnerable behavior is on the serve path, not merely the upload path: the patch notes that a malicious SVG uploaded while SVG support was enabled could remain dangerous even after uploads were later disabled. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

LaraDashboard versions 0.9.0 through 1.2.2 fail to sanitize SVG file content during media upload, allowing authenticated users with only the media.create permission to upload malicious SVG files containing script tags. When any user including administrators opens the stored SVG file served inline from the application origin, the embedded JavaScript executes in the dashboard context, enabling session hijacking and administrative account takeover.

Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') vulnerability in Apache Syncope. The notification message, as optionally shown by Console's and Enduser's login pages can be instructed to display HTML tags with unsafe JS inline, via malicious HTTP link generation. This issue affects Apache Syncope: from 4.0.4 through 4.0.7, from 4.1.0-M0 through 4.1.2. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.8 / 4.1.3, which fix this issue.

Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - Reflected XSS in Articles Anywhere extension for Joomla < 20.0.0, Users Anywhere extension for Joomla < 2.1.0 - Articles Anywhere Pro and Users Anywhere Pro return values from request-input data tags without making them safe for the context in which the tag is used. Joomla's string input filter does not make the same value safe for HTML text, an HTML attribute and a URL. A visitor-controlled request value can therefore become an executable URL or a new event attribute in output configured by a site author.
