CVE-2026-97400 Medium · 6.8 CWE-611 Oct 20, 2026
jdmpview / DTFJ reads arbitrary local files and makes arbitrary outbound requests when opening a third-party diagnostic dump bundle (XXE in XMLIndexReader)
In Eclipse OpenJ9 versions up to 0.63, opening a supplied diagnostic dump bundle with the jdmpview tool, or equivalent DTFJ code, may cause the analyst's machine to read an arbitrary local file named inside the bundle and send its contents to an arbitrary remote host.
CVE-2026-96402 Medium · 5.2 CWE-125 Oct 20, 2026
USBX PIMA/MTP host class reads past its receive buffer when a device over-reports its object handle count
A malicious USB MTP/PTP device can cause the USBX host to read past a heap buffer during ordinary object enumeration, leaking adjacent heap contents to the application or faulting on an unmapped page.
CVE-2026-95111 Medium · 4.8 CWE-125 Oct 20, 2026
Module queue front-send validates a word count as a byte count
A memory-protected ThreadX module's queue request reaches the Module Manager's dispatch layer, which decides how much of the module's buffer the privileged queue copy may touch and hands that extent to the module port's range check. A queue's `tx_queue_message_size` is a count of `ULONG`s and the copy moves that many words, so the extent is `message_size * sizeof(ULONG)` bytes. The front-send dispatcher passed the word count itself. `tx_queue_send` and `tx_queue_receive`, either side of it in the same header, have always multiplied. A source buffer ending `message_size` bytes into memory the module may read was therefore accepted, and `_txe_queue_front_send` then read `message_size * sizeof(ULONG)` bytes from it in privileged mode — `3 * message_size` bytes past the end of what the module is allowed to read. The words are written into the queue's message area, so a module that can receive from that queue reads them back.
CVE-2026-92454 Medium · 6.1 CWE-125 Oct 20, 2026
JPEG decoder: truncated segments are read past the image buffer, and a zero sampling factor hangs the decode
The GUIX software JPEG decoder reads four kinds of marker segment without checking that each is long enough to hold what it reads. A truncated segment is therefore read past the end of the caller's image buffer. Separately, a zero chroma sampling factor makes the block decode loop non-terminating. Both reproduce in the default configuration, in which `GX_SOFTWARE_DECODER_SUPPORT` is enabled.
CVE-2026-92449 Medium · 6.8 CWE-129 Oct 20, 2026
Binary resource loader: unbounded map_id from a theme file causes a heap out-of-bounds write in the GUIX-allocated arena
`_gx_binres_pixelmap_table_load()` in the GUIX binary resource (theme) loader indexes the pixelmap table with a value read verbatim from the resource file and never bounds it against the table size. A crafted theme drives a write of up to roughly 256 KB past the end of the table. The overflowed buffer is allocated by GUIX itself, through `_gx_system_memory_allocator`, rather than supplied by the caller, so the loader corrupts its own arena. The public API `gx_binres_theme_load()` takes no size parameter, so no amount of caller diligence prevents this. Reproduces in the shipped default configuration; `GX_BINARY_RESOURCE_SUPPORT` is enabled by default.
CVE-2026-92446 Medium · 6.8 CWE-125 Oct 20, 2026
GUIX binary resource loader reads past the end of a resource, because no length for it ever reaches the loader
`gx_binres_theme_load()` and `gx_binres_font_load()` take the resource as a bare `GX_UBYTE *` with no length, and `GX_BINRES_DATA_INFO` has no field to carry one. Every read is therefore performed at an offset the file itself chose, against a buffer whose extent the loader does not know. A resource that declares more data than it contains is read past its end, and an offset stored in the file is turned into a pointer without being bounded. This is a distinct defect from GHSA-hgcj-22cg-4hfv, which was an underflowed glyph count. It needs no underflow and no wrapped multiply: a perfectly well-formed, narrow glyph range reaches it.
CVE-2026-91059 Medium · 6.8 CWE-125 Oct 20, 2026
JPEG decoder: a duplicate SOF0 after SOS publishes a pixelmap that misreports its own allocation size
The GUIX JPEG software decoder enforces no ordering on JPEG markers. A file that places a second `SOF0` frame header after `SOS` re-runs the frame header parser after the output buffer has already been allocated and its geometry latched. The decoder returns `GX_SUCCESS` and publishes a `GX_PIXELMAP` whose reported dimensions and `data_size` exceed the allocation behind it. Any consumer that trusts the returned structure reads out of bounds, including GUIX's own display drivers, reached through the ordinary draw path. Reproduces in the shipped default configuration; `GX_SOFTWARE_DECODER_SUPPORT` is enabled by default.

CVE-2026-112944 Medium · 6.3 CWE-88 Oct 20, 2026
launch-editor: Editor CLI flag misinterpretation causing arbitrary command execution for some editors
launch-editor allows users to open files with line numbers in editor from Node.js. Prior to 2.14.2, when an attacker can create a filesystem entry beginning with plus or minus in the working directory, an affected editor is selected, and the path can remain relative or is converted to a relative WSL path, launchEditor forwards the path without forcing it to be interpreted as a positional filename. Editor option parsing then treats the attacker-controlled filename as a command-line flag, which can cause unintended file overwrite or arbitrary command execution by the selected editor. The affected editors are Vim and gVim, MacVim, Emacs and Emacsclient, and Notepad++ when a plugin exposes dangerous operations; WSL path conversion keeps Vite and newer middleware callers exposed. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.2.
CVE-2026-112943 Medium · 6.3 CWE-78 Oct 20, 2026
launch-editor: escapeCmdArgs() omits % escaping on Windows
launch-editor allows users to open files with line numbers in editor from Node.js. Prior to 2.14.2, launch-editor did not escape % on Windows when passing an argument to cmd. When an environment variable contained a malicious value, it was possible that that content to be executed. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.14.2.
CVE-2026-112939 Medium · 4.7 CWE-345 Oct 20, 2026
filelock: SoftFileLock removes a live holder's marker when another user forges the PID in a writable marker
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.22.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can trust a forged process identifier in a marker that an attacker can modify but cannot remove, allowing an authorized contender such as another process of the holder's account or root to act as a confused deputy, remove the live marker, and admit another holder. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
CVE-2026-112937 Medium · 6.1 CWE-367 Oct 20, 2026
filelock: ReadWriteLock on the hard-link route deletes any directory another user renames onto its .filelock-* link directory name
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.1, ReadWriteLock can remove a randomized .filelock-* private-hard-link directory during cleanup, allowing another local user with rename access in a non-sticky parent to observe a live name or forge a dead-owner sweep name and rename a sibling directory onto it for deletion. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
CVE-2026-112936 Medium · 6.1 CWE-59 Oct 20, 2026
filelock: ReadWriteLock follows a symlink at the lock path into SQLite
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.20.4 until 4.0.9, ReadWriteLock and AsyncReadWriteLock versions from 3.20.4 resolve the lock path and pass it to SQLite without rejecting a final symbolic link, allowing another local user who can create names in the lock directory to redirect database creation and locking or split mutual exclusion between targets. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.9.
CVE-2026-112935 Medium · 4.7 CWE-367 Oct 20, 2026
filelock: SoftFileLock stale-lock break removes a live lock file on a reused inode number and admits two holders
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.22.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can break a stale marker after an attacker frees its own marker following the stale read, an honest contender creates a live successor on the reused inode, and the successor's modification time is not newer than the saved observation, causing the live marker to be removed and two holders to be admitted. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
CVE-2026-112934 Medium · 6.1 CWE-62 Oct 20, 2026
filelock: SoftReadWriteLock holder refresh writes through a hard link and hangs on a named pipe that another local user renames over its record
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.0.0 until 4.2.1, SoftReadWriteLock refreshes holder records by name, allowing another local user with rename access to the lock directory to replace a record with a named pipe and stall the lock, or under a permissive hard-link policy to link a reachable target file and cause the lock user to write through it. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
CVE-2026-112915 Medium · 5.5 CWE-400 Oct 20, 2026
filelock ReadWriteLock: a crafted lock database makes every acquire stall or hang regardless of timeout
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.20.4 until 4.2.1, ReadWriteLock can open a crafted SQLite lock database without bounding schema and query work, allowing another local user who can replace the database to make acquisition stall or hang; versions from 3.20.4 expose this on initial per-instance opening, and versions from 3.30.0 repeat the exposure on every acquisition. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
CVE-2026-112914 Medium · 5.3 CWE-363 Oct 20, 2026
filelock: SoftFileLock stale-break restore follows a swapped-in symbolic link and hard-links a file of the user running the lock into the lock directory
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can restore a stale marker by name after moving it aside, allowing another local user with rename access in a non-sticky lock directory to swap in a symbolic link and, on a runtime that follows the link and a same-filesystem target, make the lock user hard-link one of its files into the lock directory. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
CVE-2026-112911 Medium · 6.3 CWE-283 Oct 20, 2026
filelock: StrictSoftFileLock and SoftReadWriteLock adopt a protocol directory another user created first, losing mutual exclusion
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.30.0 until 4.2.1, StrictSoftFileLock versions from 3.30.0 and SoftReadWriteLock versions from 4.0.0 can adopt a protocol directory created first by another local user in a shared parent directory, allowing that user to alter protocol state and admit concurrent holders. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
CVE-2026-112909 Medium · 6.1 CWE-706 Oct 20, 2026
filelock: UnixFileLock truncates and chmods any regular file another user renames or hard-links onto the lock path
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. Prior to 4.2.1, UnixFileLock can truncate a regular file renamed onto the lock path when another local user has actual rename permission, or hard-linked there under a permissive hard-link policy; when an explicit mode is requested, affected versions from 3.10.2 can also change that file's mode. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
CVE-2026-112906 Medium · 4.7 CWE-694 Oct 20, 2026
filelock: SoftFileLock evicts a fresh lock file whose watched age another local user's pre-dated file passed on through inode reuse
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock versions from 4.1.0 can reuse a stale observation when an attacker pre-dates and removes its own marker, at least two lock-user processes are waiting, coarse or matching modification times preserve the observation, and an honest contender creates a fresh marker on the reused inode, causing that live marker to be removed as stale. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.

CVE-2026-111762 Medium · 5.7 CWE-532 Oct 20, 2026
A2A Java SDK: Push notification credentials logged in cleartext on protobuf parse failure
A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol. Prior to 1.3.0.Final, RestHandler.parseRequestBody in `transport/rest/src/main/java/org/a2aproject/sdk/transport/rest/handler/RestHandler.java` logs the entire JSON request body at SEVERE level when JsonFormat.parser().merge() throws InvalidProtocolBufferException. With push notifications enabled, createTaskPushNotificationConfiguration reaches this parser for requests to `/v1/tenants/{tenant}/tasks/{taskId}/pushNotificationConfigs`, whose token and authentication.credentials fields can contain bearer tokens and authentication credentials for client push endpoints. A valid JSON body that fails protobuf deserialization, including an unknown field under strict parsing or a schema mismatch, causes those secrets to be written to the server logs in cleartext. An attacker with access to the server logs or a log aggregation system can retrieve the credentials and potentially use the credentials to send forged task status updates to the client's push notification endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.0.Final.
CVE-2026-111761 Medium · 5.8 CWE-918 Oct 20, 2026
A2A Java SDK has Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in push-notification delivery
A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol. Prior to 1.3.0.Final, BasePushNotificationSender in server-common sends task data to the URL in TaskPushNotificationConfig without destination validation, scheme restrictions, or bounds on redirects. InMemoryPushNotificationConfigStore.setInfo stores the URL verbatim, and onCreateTaskPushNotificationConfig does not validate the destination. In the default deployment with push notifications enabled, an unauthenticated caller can register a destination through an inline SendMessage configuration or CreateTaskPushNotificationConfig for an existing task, causing task status and artifact updates to send requests from the server's network position to loopback, private, link-local cloud-metadata, IPv6 unique-local, unspecified, or multicast destinations where routing permits. JdkA2AHttpClient and VertxA2AHttpClient follow redirects, allowing a webhook redirect to bypass creation-time destination checks and convert a POST into a GET; hostname-only checks also do not prevent DNS rebinding. Direct POST delivery can push attacker-influenced task data into internal services, whereas a redirected POST-to-GET request drops the body. The sender discards the fetched response and does not expose delivery success or failure, so the demonstrated behavior does not provide response read-back. No credentials or user interaction are required. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.0.Final.
