CVE-2026-93228
Critical · 9.1

svcrdma: Reject Write/Reply chunks with segcount 0
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
svcrdma: Reject Write/Reply chunks with segcount 0
A peer can send a Write or Reply chunk whose segcount field is zero.
xdr_check_write_chunk() only rejects segcount > rc_maxpages, so zero
passes the range check, and xdr_inline_decode(stream, 0) returns the
current (non-NULL) cursor without advancing. The function returns
true and pcl_alloc_write() then links a struct svc_rdma_chunk with
ch_segcount == 0 onto rc_write_pcl or rc_reply_pcl.
An earlier patch in this series made pcl_for_each_segment() safe for
ch_segcount == 0, so this no longer drives the memory walk it used
to. Rejecting the malformed frame at the decode boundary is still
worthwhile as defense in depth: it keeps degenerate zero-segment
chunks off the parsed chunk lists entirely, so any future consumer
that walks ch_segments directly cannot observe one, and it makes the
zero-floor easy to backport to trees where the macro change is more
intrusive. RFC 8166 has no meaning for a Write/Reply chunk that
describes no remote buffer, so no legitimate client is affected.
xdr_check_reply_chunk() funnels Reply chunks through
xdr_check_write_chunk() and inherits the same rejection.
pcl_alloc_write() also links each chunk onto the parsed chunk list
before filling its segment array. If a future change weakens the
segcount-0 rejection, an incomplete chunk is visible to consumers
during the fill loop. Reorder so that list_add_tail() follows the
segment fill loop, ensuring only fully-populated chunks appear on
the list.

SUNRPC: Zero rpc_gss_wire_cred at svcauth_gss_decode_credbody() entry
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
SUNRPC: Zero rpc_gss_wire_cred at svcauth_gss_decode_credbody() entry
svcauth_gss_decode_credbody() writes the caller's
rpc_gss_wire_cred field by field and assigns gc_ctx.len only on
the success tail. The caller storage is svcdata->clcred, which
lives in the per-svc_rqst gss_svc_data and is reused across
requests. Early decode failures leave partially decoded state
mixed with residue from the prior request.
The trailing body_len tightness check is the sharpest case:
xdr_stream_decode_opaque_inline() has already written gc_ctx.data
with a borrowed inline pointer into the current request's XDR
pages, but gc_ctx.len retains its prior value. Once the request
pages are released the pooled clcred carries a dangling pointer
paired with a stale length.
Zero the caller's rpc_gss_wire_cred at function entry so that
every early-return path leaves a deterministic all-zero cred.
On the trailing tightness-check path, gc_ctx.len is now zero
instead of stale, which neuters length-driven consumers such as
gss_svc_searchbyctx() that would otherwise walk the dangling
data pointer.

In OpenStack Zaqar before 22.0.2, WSGI transport mishandles the URL-Signature header. By sending a request with an empty URL-Signature header, an unauthenticated remote attacker who knows a target project's UUID may bypass both Keystone authentication and pre-signed URL verification, resulting in the ability to read, enumerate, create, and delete that project's queues, messages, claims, and subscriptions. By additionally claiming an administrative role, the attacker may also perform administrative operations, such as managing pools and flavors in admin_mode deployments. Only deployments using the WSGI transport with an authentication strategy configured are affected; the websocket transport is not affected.

An integer overflow vulnerability exists in the MPack Node API in MPack 1.1.1 on 32-bit platforms. When parsing a specially crafted MessagePack array32 or map32 object with an excessively large element count, the page allocation size calculation in mpack_tree_parse_children() can overflow size_t and produce an undersized allocation. Subsequent parsing writes mpack_node_data_t records beyond the allocated heap buffer, resulting in heap-buffer-overflow, memory corruption, and denial of service.

HFS2 2.4.0 Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Read/Write via Template Engine
HFS2 version 2.4.0 and earlier contains an unauthenticated arbitrary file access vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read, write, append, and delete files anywhere the HFS service account has filesystem access outside the shared folder. Attackers can exploit the macro dispatcher's lack of authorization model combined with the path resolver's failure to confine absolute paths to manipulate the template engine and compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the host.

Public exploit CWE-1336 Sep 24, 2026
HFS2 2.4.0 RCE via Multipart Upload Filename Template Injection
HFS2 version 2.4.0 and earlier contains a template injection vulnerability in the multipart upload handler that allows unauthenticated attackers to achieve remote code execution by embedding malicious template syntax in a filename. Attackers can craft a filename containing a closing template quoting sequence followed by an exec macro, which bypasses the authorization check in the dispatcher to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying host system.

Critical · 9.3
CWE-347 Sep 24, 2026
Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature in dashbit nimble_zta Cloudflare strategy
Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature vulnerability in dashbit nimble_zta allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to authenticate as an arbitrary Cloudflare service token. Applications using the Cloudflare Zero Trust authentication strategy are affected.
verify_token/2 in lib/nimble_zta/cloudflare.ex matches the result of JOSE.JWT.verify/2 against {_, token, _s}, which discards the boolean verification result and returns the decoded token after a failed signature check. The attacker sends a forged JWT in the cf-access-jwt-assertion header, carrying the expected iss claim and the seven service token claims. verify_iss/2 reads the iss claim from the forged token, so it rejects nothing, and the service token path then returns those claims as the authenticated identity.
This issue affects nimble_zta: from 0.1.2 before 0.1.3.

CWE-164 Sep 24, 2026
Velociraptor Investigator reaches SuperUser via hunt EffectivePrincipal
Velociraptor stores the compiled VQL in the hunt object internally to avoid having to recompile the artifacts for each endpoint in the hunt. Although the field "compiled_collector_args" is an internal field, Velociraptor allowed the field to be set from a user API call. This allows another user who can schedule a hunt (minimal role of "investigator" ) to set the compiled VQL statements for the hunt bypassing any ACL checks that would normally be applied.
This flaw can then be escalated to allow the "investigator" user to run arbitrary VQL statements as an administrator user on the Velociraptor server.

Visual Composer Website Builder <= 45.16.0 - Unauthenticated Local File Inclusion via 'vcv-template' Parameter
The Visual Composer Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 45.16.0 via the `vcv-template` parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included.

Paytium: Mollie payment forms & donations <= 5.0.3 - Unauthenticated Privilege Escalation via 'pt_form_field[pt-user-role]' Parameter
The Paytium: Mollie payment forms & donations plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.3. The 5.0.3 patch introduced a wp_hash()/hash_equals() signature gate on the pt-paytium-user-data field, but left a second filter — pt_cf_checkout_meta(), registered on the pt_meta_values hook after the signed builder — that copies every $_POST['pt_form_field'][*] key verbatim into the payment meta array without any signature verification; this allows the pt-user-role value it copies to overwrite the signed path's output, after which paytium_user_data_processing() reads the persisted _pt-user-role post meta and passes it directly as the role argument to wp_insert_user(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a new WordPress account with the administrator role and fully take over the site. Exploitation requires submitting a payment through a publicly-exposed [paytium] shortcode form and completing the resulting payment flow, after which the attacker can seize the new administrator account via the standard lost-password flow on their supplied email address.

CWE-434 Sep 23, 2026
Laravel-Mediable 7.0.0 < 7.0.2 RCE via .pht File Upload
Laravel-Mediable 7.0.0 before 7.0.2 contains an incomplete patch for CVE-2026-49972 in which the .pht extension is absent from the forbidden_extensions blocklist in config/mediable.php. The blocklist introduced to address CVE-2026-49972 includes phpt but omits pht, which Apache executes as PHP via the default FilesMatch directive on Debian and Ubuntu systems. An attacker can upload a .pht file that passes all validation in MediaUploader::verifyExtension() and File::sanitizeFileName() because pht is not present in the blocklist, causing the file to be written to disk and executed as PHP when requested, enabling remote code execution with the privileges of the web server process.

CWE-295 Sep 23, 2026
RabbitMQ: Trust-store whitelist by Issuer+Serial only
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, The trust-store plugin installs a verify_fun that overrides {bad_cert, unknown_ca} / {bad_cert, selfsigned_peer} when the presented cert "matches" a whitelisted one. The match key is extract_issuer_id/1 → public_key:pkix_issuer_id/2 → {IssuerName, SerialNumber} , both fields are taken verbatim from the presented certificate body and contain no public-key, SKI, fingerprint or signature material. is_whitelisted/1 is a pure ets:member lookup; the stored full DER is used only for list/0 display and is never compared against the presented cert. cacerts is [], so the whitelisted cert is never used as a trust anchor for path validation either. TLS client-authentication bypass: an attacker who knows the issuer DN + serial of any whitelisted certificate can connect with a forged self-signed cert. Preconditions include rabbitmq_trust_store plugin enabled and used as the TLS verify_fun Attacker knows or can guess the {Issuer, Serial} of at least one whitelisted cert (non-secret; exposed via CLI/logs/any cert copy). This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0.
