CVE-2026-95391 Medium · 5.5 CWE-416 Sep 29, 2026
Use After Free in Wireshark
ZigBee ZCL protocol dissector crash in 4.6.0 to 4.6.8 allows denial of service
CVE-2026-91096 High · 7.5 CWE-416 Sep 28, 2026
Use After Free in Facebook Proxygen
In proxygen from v2024.10.28.00 until v2026.09.28.00, WebTransportImpl::terminateSessionStreams (WebTransportImpl::destroy in releases before v2025.08.18.00) failed to unregister read callbacks for streams that were no longer open before destroying them. The transport could then invoke a read callback that had been freed.
CVE-2026-91095 Medium · 5.3 CWE-416 Sep 28, 2026
Use After Free in Facebook Proxygen
In proxygen from v2024.10.28.00 until v2026.09.28.00, the HTTPTransaction::onWebTransportUniStream and HTTPTransaction::onWebTransportBidiStream APIs could return stream handles that the stream handler had already freed. HQSession then installed those handles as transport read callbacks, which could lead to use of freed memory.
CVE-2026-84895 High · 7.3 CWE-416 Sep 28, 2026
Use After Free in Facebook Proxygen
In proxygen from v2026.04.06.00 until v2026.09.28.00, QuicWtSession::closeSession accesses its member fields after calling the base QuicWtSessionBase::closeSession method. The base method notifies the session handler, which may release the last reference to the session and destroy it.
CVE-2026-84894 High · 7.5 CWE-416 Sep 28, 2026
Use After Free in Meta Platforms, Inc Moxygen
In moxygen before commit 004123dd24c3, MoQSession::dataStreamReadLoop keeps using a stream read handle after reading a FIN, which invalidates the handle under proxygen's WebTransport API. A remote peer can trigger the stale use by opening a data stream that names an unknown track alias and carries the FIN in the same write.
CVE-2026-15442 Medium · 5.3 CWE-416 Sep 27, 2026
Heap use-after-free on read during bidirectional (D)TLS shutdown
In all builds that make use of (D)TLS, including default builds, there is a series of conditional states during the TLS shutdown which could lead to a heap-use-after free. If an application ended up getting a partial wolfSSL_read() which is sometimes caused by a small user buffer passed in, then called wolfSSL_shutdown for a bidirectional close and attempted to wolfSSL_read() again while the peer continues trying to send data during the shutdown it would lead to a state where a potential heap-use-after free happened.
CVE-2026-100503 Medium · 5.5 CWE-416 Sep 25, 2026
Ghidra through 12.1.4 Heap Use-After-Free in Decompiler
Ghidra versions through 12.1.4 contain a heap use-after-free vulnerability in the decompiler's Funcdata::opInsertAfter function caused by stale INDIRECT effect-op references. Attackers can craft a malicious binary with a specific x86-64 sequence that triggers the vulnerability during decompilation, causing the decompile helper process to crash and denying service to analysts and automated analysis pipelines.
CVE-2026-95834 Medium · 4.6 CWE-416 Sep 25, 2026
Use after free in the kitty drag and drop protocol when a drag source item is aborted mid-transfer
Use After Free in the drag source path of the drag and drop protocol in kitty from 0.47.0 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to cause the terminal to read from and write to freed heap memory, because drag_remote_file_data() in kitty/dnd.c holds a DragRemoteItem pointer into an array it does not own, calls toplevel_data_for_drag() or subdir_data_for_drag(), and then continues to use that pointer. Those helpers, and add_payload() and populate_dir_entries() which they call, report errors through the abrt() macro, which expands to cancel_drag() followed by a plain return, and cancel_drag() calls drag_free_offer(), which frees the array the pointer refers to. The helpers return void, so the caller receives no indication that the teardown happened, and proceeds to call all_children_complete() on the freed pointer, which dereferences it, and then to write through it. That dereference is guarded by a local flag that is set when the request carries no payload and announces no further data, which is the same condition that selects the finalisation block of add_payload(), so the error paths in that block reach it: a create that fails because an entry of the same name already exists, because the client may declare two entries with one name and the create operations use O_CREAT with O_EXCL and symlinkat(), a mkdirat() failure other than EEXIST, and the directory entry allocation paths. Both branches reach it. In the top level branch the caller's pointer is never cleared, so clearing the owning structure's own pointers during teardown does not help. In the sub directory branch subdir_data_for_drag() sets the caller's pointer to NULL on entry and assigns it only after its own last error path, so its own aborts leave the caller with NULL and are stopped by a null check, but it then calls add_payload() with that pointer set, and an abort there leaves the caller holding a freed child node inside the item tree, which drag_free_offer() frees by recursion. This results in undefined behaviour in the terminal process, reachable from the byte stream of any program running in the window.

Qemu-kvm: 9pfs: use-after-free race in tlcreate/twalk allows vm guest escape
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in QEMU's 9pfs subsystem. A race condition between the main thread and a worker thread when processing concurrent Tlcreate and Twalk requests allows a malicious guest user to craft a fid path containing stale heap data, bypassing directory traversal restrictions and escaping the shared directory boundary. This can lead to arbitrary host file read/write and code execution (VM escape) as the QEMU process user.

drm/msm: Recover HW before retire hung submit
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm: Recover HW before retire hung submit During recovery, it is not safe to retire the hung submit before we recover the GPU. Retiring the submit triggers BO free and that can result in GPU pagefaults since the GPU may be actively accessing those BOs. To fix this, retire the submits after gpu recovery is complete in recover_worker(). Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/730655/
CVE-2026-100072 High · 7.8 CWE-416 Sep 25, 2026
ACPI: platform: Use acpi_bus_get_primary_device()
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ACPI: platform: Use acpi_bus_get_primary_device() The acpi_get_first_physical_node() usage in acpi_platform_fill_resource() and acpi_create_platform_device() is generally unsafe because in theory the device returned by it may be freed at any time [1]. It is also inefficient because acpi_get_first_physical_node() is called multiple times for the same argument which can be avoided. Address these issues by using acpi_bus_get_primary_device() instead of acpi_get_first_physical_node() and adjusting the code to call it just once at the beginning of and acpi_create_platform_device() and drop the device reference acquired by it upon the return from that function.

vxlan: mdb: Fix use-after-free in vxlan_mdb_remote_src_del()
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: mdb: Fix use-after-free in vxlan_mdb_remote_src_del() vxlan_mdb_is_valid_source(), which validates MDBE_ATTR_SOURCE and every MDBE_ATTR_SRC_LIST member, accepts the all-zeros address. A source list is only accepted on a (*, G) entry, whose source is the all-zeros address, and for each member of the list an (S, G) entry is derived from it by substituting the source. Entries are keyed by a plain memcmp() of struct vxlan_mdb_entry_key, so if MDBE_ATTR_SOURCE is present and holds the all-zeros address and the source list holds it as well, the derived (S, G) key is byte-identical to the (*, G) key and resolves to the same entry. Omitting MDBE_ATTR_SOURCE is not equivalent, as the key is then left with a zero address family. vxlan_mdb_remote_src_del() removes the forwarding entry of a source before freeing the source entry: vxlan_mdb_remote_src_fwd_del(vxlan, group, remote, &ent->addr); vxlan_mdb_remote_src_entry_del(ent); With the keys aliased, the first call deletes the remote of the entry that owns 'ent' instead of a separate (S, G) entry, and frees 'ent'. The second call then runs on the freed entry, and its hlist_del() reads ->pprev and ->next out of it and writes through them. Adding the (*, G) entry with NLM_F_REPLACE and no source list marks the all-zeros source for deletion and reaches this from the sweep at the end of vxlan_mdb_remote_srcs_replace(). BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in __vxlan_mdb_add+0x1cd/0xd70 Read of size 8 at addr ffff888102852500 by task poc/84 __vxlan_mdb_add+0x1cd/0xd70 vxlan_mdb_add+0xc0/0x140 rtnl_mdb_add+0x157/0x2a0 rtnetlink_rcv_msg+0x207/0x5a0 Allocated by task 84: __kmalloc_cache_noprof+0x153/0x360 vxlan_mdb_remote_srcs_add+0x2eb/0x440 __vxlan_mdb_add+0x803/0xd70 Freed by task 84: kfree+0x14c/0x3b0 vxlan_mdb_remote_del+0x129/0x1a0 __vxlan_mdb_del+0x4f/0xe0 vxlan_mdb_remote_src_fwd_del.isra.0+0x162/0x1b0 __vxlan_mdb_add+0x1c5/0xd70 The MDB operations are netns-scoped, so an unprivileged user can perform them in a new user and network namespace. Reject the all-zeros address in vxlan_mdb_is_valid_source(), which covers both call sites. A (*, G) entry is expressed by omitting the source, so nothing legitimate is refused. btrfs: detach failed sprout device from transaction update list
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: detach failed sprout device from transaction update list When creating the first metadata chunk for a sprout filesystem, create_chunk() adds the new device to the transaction dev_update_list through device->post_commit_list. If the subsequent system chunk creation fails, btrfs_init_new_device() aborts the transaction and releases the device while post_commit_list is still linked. This triggers a warning in btrfs_free_device() and leaves the transaction list referencing freed memory. Detach the device while holding chunk_mutex before releasing it.

btrfs: restore active device pointers after failed sprout
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: restore active device pointers after failed sprout btrfs_init_new_device() switches latest_dev and possibly s_bdev from the seed device to the new sprout device before creating the first writable chunks. If chunk creation or the subsequent sprout setup fails, the error path releases the new device without switching those pointers back. btrfs_show_devname() can then dereference the freed latest_dev and crash. Restore the active device pointers to the latest seed device before removing and releasing the failed sprout device.

btrfs: fix transaction use-after-free in raid stripe insertion
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix transaction use-after-free in raid stripe insertion If allocation of a RAID stripe extent fails, btrfs_insert_one_raid_extent() aborts and ends the transaction before returning -ENOMEM. btrfs_finish_one_ordered(), the production caller through btrfs_insert_raid_extent(), still owns the transaction handle. It handles the error by aborting the transaction and then reaches the common exit path, which ends the transaction again. The premature end can free the handle and drop its transaction reference. Transaction cleanup can then free the transaction before the caller's second abort accesses the handle and transaction, resulting in use-after-free. Keep the abort at the failure site, but let the caller's common exit path end the transaction once, after it has finished using both objects.

Librsvg: use-after-free when xml includes have duplicated entities
A flaw was found in librsvg. When processing an SVG document containing nested XML inclusions (Xincludes) with duplicate entity declarations, a use-after-free error can occur. This vulnerability arises because the library incorrectly frees an XML entity that is still in use by the parser. An attacker could potentially exploit this to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code.
