WordPress Profile Builder plugin <= 4.0.2 - Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability
Subscriber Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in Profile Builder <= 4.0.2 versions.
CVE-2026-95866 High · 7.2 CWE-79 Sep 25, 2026
User Profile Builder <= 4.0.2 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Avatar Field
The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Avatar Field in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The zero-length multipart file branch in wppb_save_avatar_value() writes the raw request value directly to user meta, bypassing the wppb_save_attachment_id()/wppb_verify_attachment_id() validation path; the stored payload is later adopted as a WordPress attachment URL and rendered unescaped by wppb_default_fields_make_upload_button() when an administrator views the affected account.
CVE-2026-93656 Medium · 6.4 CWE-79 Sep 25, 2026
User Profile Builder <= 4.0.2 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Avatar Field
This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable via a nonce-free GET request to /wp-admin/profile.php, requiring no profile-form submission; a Subscriber can plant the malicious attachment URL, which then executes when an administrator opens that user's Edit User screen.
CVE-2026-89412 High · 7.2 CWE-79 Sep 22, 2026
TranslatePress <= 3.3.5 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Translation Memory Suggestion Panel
The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Translation Memory Suggestion Panel (v-html on suggestion.original) in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Unauthenticated attackers can seed the translation dictionary's original column with executable HTML because the front-end rendering pipeline decodes entity-encoded payloads via html_entity_decode() before persistence, and the original column is deliberately exempt from kses filtering — meaning no save-time sanitizer neutralizes the stored payload before it is later rendered in an administrator's session.
CVE-2026-6431 High · 7.2 CWE-79 Sep 7, 2026
User Profile Builder <= 3.15.7 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'Biographical Info' Meta Field
The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Biographical Info' meta field parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.15.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
CVE-2026-75964 Medium · 6.1 CWE-79 Sep 1, 2026
User Profile Builder <= 4.0.0 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'email' Parameter
The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'email' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload reaches administrators with the manage_options capability when they visit the Users > Unconfirmed Email Addresses list table and interact with row-action links, as the poisoned javascript: href is rendered verbatim into the page HTML by row_actions().
CVE-2026-75965 Medium · 6.4 CWE-79 Sep 1, 2026
User Profile Builder <= 4.0.0 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'date' Shortcode Attribute
The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'date' Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the wppb_toolbox_shortcodes_settings[format-date] option to be set to 'yes' by an administrator for the shortcode to be active and the vulnerability to be exploitable.
CVE-2026-82607 High · 7.3 CWE-284 Aug 31, 2026
Cozmoslabs Profile Builder Plugin Avatar Simple Upload AJAX admin-ajax.php wppb_ajax_simple_avatar unrestricted upload
A vulnerability was found in Cozmoslabs Profile Builder Plugin up to 3.16.1 on WordPress. The impacted element is the function wppb_ajax_simple_avatar of the file /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php of the component Avatar Simple Upload AJAX Handler. Performing a manipulation results in unrestricted upload. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. Upgrading to version 3.16.2 is sufficient to resolve this issue. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component.
CVE-2026-76053 High · 7.2 CWE-79 Aug 28, 2026
TranslatePress <= 3.3.3 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Noise-Key Injection into HTML Parser
The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Noise-Key Injection into HTML Parser in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation is possible because WordPress's comment KSES allowlist permits the payload structure — an anchor tag with href and title attributes alongside a code tag — causing the malicious comment to be stored verbatim in the database, where it is later processed by the vulnerable parser during page translation.
CVE-2026-19632 Critical · 9.8 CWE-640 Aug 26, 2026
TranslatePress – Multilingual <= 3.3.1 - Unauthenticated Account Takeover via Password Reset Link Disclosure
The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.1 via the 'trp_get_translations_regular' AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the raw administrator password-reset URL — including the plaintext reset key and login parameters stored in the translation dictionary table — enabling full administrator account takeover. This vulnerability is only exploitable when automatic string saving is enabled (the default setting) and the target administrator's profile locale is set to a published secondary language, as these conditions cause the password-reset URL to be persisted as a translatable string in the secondary-language dictionary table.
CVE-2026-18512 Medium · 6.4 CWE-79 Aug 25, 2026
TranslatePress <= 3.2.6 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Approved Comment Body in Translation Editor
The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Approved Comment Body Rendered in Translation Editor Strings Dropdown in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
CVE-2026-78267 Critical · 9.8 CWE-266 Aug 24, 2026
WordPress TranslatePress plugin <= 3.3.2 - Privilege Escalation vulnerability
Unauthenticated Privilege Escalation in TranslatePress <= 3.3.2 versions.
CVE-2026-66582 High · 7.1 CWE-79 Aug 20, 2026
WordPress TranslatePress plugin <= 3.3.2 - Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability
Unauthenticated Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in TranslatePress <= 3.3.2 versions.
CVE-2026-75981 High · 7.2 CWE-79 Aug 19, 2026
TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation <= 3.2.5 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting
The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 3.2.5. The special gettext markers '#!trpst#' and '#!trpen#' are unconditionally rewritten to '<' and '>' by translate_page() in includes/class-translation-render.php (lines 538-539). Because those markers are plain text with no HTML-special characters, an unauthenticated attacker can embed them in a comment; the markers survive wp_kses, and when the post is viewed in a secondary language the substitution turns the attacker's '#!trpst#img ... #!trpen#' into a real <img> tag. remove_tags_from_output() only strips <script>/<style>, so an <img onerror=...> executes in the visitor's browser.
CVE-2026-15826 Critical · 9.8 CWE-704 Aug 15, 2026
User Profile Builder <= 3.16.4 - Unauthenticated Authentication Bypass via Type Confusion to Administrator Account Takeover via 'username' Parameter
The User Profile Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass via Type Confusion in versions up to, and including, 3.16.4. This is due to the wppb_log_in_user() function calling absint() on the return value of wp_insert_user() before performing an is_wp_error() check — when a registration is submitted with a 61–70 character username, WordPress core rejects it with a WP_Error object, but absint() coerces that object to the integer 1 before the error check can short-circuit execution, causing the plugin to bind and return a transient-backed autologin nonce tied to user ID 1. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as the site's Administrator account (user ID 1), resulting in full administrative takeover of the site.
CVE-2026-66701 Medium · 5.3 CWE-862 Aug 6, 2026
WordPress Profile Builder plugin <= 3.16.5 - Broken Access Control vulnerability
Unauthenticated Broken Access Control in Profile Builder <= 3.16.5 versions.
CVE-2026-18510 High · 7.2 CWE-79 Aug 6, 2026
TranslatePress <= 3.2.6 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Content
The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Content (URL-encoded gettext markers) in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Comment moderation may delay exploitation for first-time commenters, but does not prevent it, as the payload uses only WordPress-permitted tags and attributes with percent-encoded characters that pass wp_kses URL validation unmodified.
CVE-2026-17505 Medium · 6.1 CWE-79 Aug 5, 2026
TranslatePress <= 3.2.5 - Reflected Cross-Site Scripting
The Translate Multilingual sites – TranslatePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 's' parameter in versions up to, and including, 3.2.5. This is due to the translate_page() function unconditionally replacing the plugin's internal #!trpst# and #!trpen# marker tokens with literal angle brackets across the entire HTML page output after WordPress has already sanitized and escaped user input — allowing the attacker to bypass WordPress's normal HTML escaping by using these tokens, which are not HTML special characters, in the search query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a specially crafted link.
