chatwoot Widget IFrameHelper.js initPostMessageCommunication origin validation
A vulnerability was identified in chatwoot up to 4.7.0. This vulnerability affects the function initPostMessageCommunication of the file app/javascript/sdk/IFrameHelper.js of the component Widget. The manipulation of the argument baseUrl leads to origin validation error. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.

An issue in the firmware update mechanism of Nous W3 Smart WiFi Camera v1.33.50.82 allows unauthenticated and physically proximate attackers to escalate privileges to root via supplying a crafted update.tar archive file stored on a FAT32-formatted SD card.
CVE-2025-59951 Critical · 9.1 CWE-345 Oct 1, 2025
Termix' official Docker image contains an authentication bypass vulnerability
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. The official Docker image for Termix versions 1.5.0 and below, due to being configured with an Nginx reverse proxy, causes the backend to retrieve the proxy's IP instead of the client's IP when using the req.ip method. This results in isLocalhost always returning True. Consequently, the /ssh/db/host/internal endpoint can be accessed directly without login or authentication. This endpoint records the system's stored SSH host information, including addresses, usernames, and passwords, posing an extremely high security risk. Users who use the official Termix docker image, build their own image using the official dockerfile, or utilize reverse proxy functionality will be affected by this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.0.
CVE-2025-59420 High · 7.5 CWE-345 Sep 22, 2025
Authlib: JWS/JWT accepts unknown crit headers (RFC violation → possible authz bypass)
Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to version 1.6.4, Authlib’s JWS verification accepts tokens that declare unknown critical header parameters (crit), violating RFC 7515 “must‑understand” semantics. An attacker can craft a signed token with a critical header (for example, bork or cnf) that strict verifiers reject but Authlib accepts. In mixed‑language fleets, this enables split‑brain verification and can lead to policy bypass, replay, or privilege escalation. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.4.
CVE-2025-6426 High · 8.8 CWE-345 Jun 24, 2025
No warning when opening executable terminal files on macOS
The executable file warning did not warn users before opening files with the `terminal` extension. *This bug only affects Firefox for macOS. Other versions of Firefox are unaffected.*. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 140, Firefox ESR 128.12, Thunderbird 140, and Thunderbird 128.12.

IEEE P802.11-REVme D1.1 through D7.0 allows FragAttacks against mesh networks. In mesh networks using Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA, WPA2, or WPA3) or Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP), an adversary can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary frames towards devices that support receiving non-SSP A-MSDU frames. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incorrect fix for CVE-2020-24588. P802.11-REVme, as of early 2025, is a planned release of the 802.11 standard.
CVE-2023-51764 Medium · 5.3 CWE-345 Dec 24, 2023
Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity in Postfix
Postfix through 3.8.5 allows SMTP smuggling unless configured with smtpd_data_restrictions=reject_unauth_pipelining and smtpd_discard_ehlo_keywords=chunking (or certain other options that exist in recent versions). Remote attackers can use a published exploitation technique to inject e-mail messages with a spoofed MAIL FROM address, allowing bypass of an SPF protection mechanism. This occurs because Postfix supports <LF>.<CR><LF> but some other popular e-mail servers do not. To prevent attack variants (by always disallowing <LF> without <CR>), a different solution is required, such as the smtpd_forbid_bare_newline=yes option with a Postfix minimum version of 3.5.23, 3.6.13, 3.7.9, 3.8.4, or 3.9.
CVE-2023-38831 High · 7.8 KEV Urgent · 84 Public exploit Ransomware CWE-345 Aug 23, 2023
RARLAB WinRAR Code Execution Vulnerability
RARLAB WinRAR before 6.23 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code when a user attempts to view a benign file within a ZIP archive. The issue occurs because a ZIP archive may include a benign file (such as an ordinary .JPG file) and also a folder that has the same name as the benign file, and the contents of the folder (which may include executable content) are processed during an attempt to access only the benign file. This was exploited in the wild in April through October 2023.

It was found that a specially crafted LUKS header could trick cryptsetup into disabling encryption during the recovery of the device. An attacker with physical access to the medium, such as a flash disk, could use this flaw to force a user into permanently disabling the encryption layer of that medium.
CVE-2022-31813 Critical · 9.8 CWE-345 Jun 9, 2022
mod_proxy X-Forwarded-For dropped by hop-by-hop mechanism
Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier may not send the X-Forwarded-* headers to the origin server based on client side Connection header hop-by-hop mechanism. This may be used to bypass IP based authentication on the origin server/application.
CVE-2022-26871 Critical · 9.8 KEV High · 63 CWE-345 Mar 29, 2022
Trend Micro Apex Central Arbitrary File Upload Vulnerability
An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in Trend Micro Apex Central could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to upload an arbitrary file which could lead to remote code execution.

When curl >= 7.20.0 and <= 7.78.0 connects to an IMAP or POP3 server to retrieve data using STARTTLS to upgrade to TLS security, the server can respond and send back multiple responses at once that curl caches. curl would then upgrade to TLS but not flush the in-queue of cached responses but instead continue using and trustingthe responses it got *before* the TLS handshake as if they were authenticated.Using this flaw, it allows a Man-In-The-Middle attacker to first inject the fake responses, then pass-through the TLS traffic from the legitimate server and trick curl into sending data back to the user thinking the attacker's injected data comes from the TLS-protected server.
CVE-2017-7674 Medium · 4.3 CWE-345 Aug 10, 2017
Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity in Apache Tomcat
The CORS Filter in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M21, 8.5.0 to 8.5.15, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.44 and 7.0.41 to 7.0.78 did not add an HTTP Vary header indicating that the response varies depending on Origin. This permitted client and server side cache poisoning in some circumstances.
